POOR Quality compared to what is expected from Frigidaire

So a few weeks ago my old range (also a Frigidaire bought in 2008) went out and I chose this one to replace it. I have to say, after being so excited to get this, that I am very disappointed in it and in the quality of products that Frigidaire is putting out these days. I also have a Frigidaire dishwasher and it is a piece of crap too. From afar, the range looks pretty and it cooks ok. Cooks about 10 degrees cool so I make sure that i used an oven thermometer. A lot of underbaked rolls and cookies before that got figured out. The fan is pretty quiet. That's about where anything positive ends. The whole thing feels cheap and flimsy. Compared to my previous Frigidaire range it just does not add up. The whole thing rattles and rocks when you shut the oven door and I've tried adjusting the balance several times. It still rattles! The drawer at the bottom is not a warming oven, just a thin metal drawer that every time I open it I think its going to bend or fall off of the track. I'm ok with it not being a warming drawer, just not ok with the flimsiness of it. The racks inside the oven are Horrible and feel cheap and thin. It is a struggle to pull them out just to move them around and they sound (and feel) like teeth on a popsicle stick. And where is the middle? None of the placement spots are in the middle!! Go up and its too high. Go down and too low. What the heck? And the glass top? After only 3 uses it has several small scratches and chips in it as well as micro scratches all over the surface. I mostly use a microfiber cloth to clean but the occasional wet paper towel should not have done that much damage. Maybe a pot or a pan? But it is impossible to ensure that all pots and pans are perfectly smooth and who can afford to constantly buy new ones all the time. Even new ones might not be perfect. REGARDLESS, the glass top should be able to withstandstand a bit of use! My old one sure did. Don't even get me started on the thin side pannels and the cheap plastic knobs. The Only reason I even chose this model was because the knobs were the least cheap looking compared to the other models. And what is up with the broiler? Is it supposed to whistle??? My sister bought a similar range around 2019 or 2020 that has the same high quality to my previous range, the quality one expects in the name. So I question this inferior product that bears the name Frigidaire, why has it gone down hill so much over the last few years, and say that I probably wont ever have one of your products in my house again. I should have bought the Maytag! Btw...the wiggling and imbalance could also be blamed on the installation guys who installed it and don't think it's their job to mess with that. So you might want to have a chat with companies who stock and sell your product. They're not doing you any favors.

Burner issues

The “simmer to boil” burner will not regulate. It’s in a constant boil regardless of how low it’s set and everything burns. I’ve called Frigidaire because it’s less than a year old. They were no help at all.

Great Stove/Oven….So Far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a new oven since our Samsung died. We decided to try a totally different brand for us. We chose the Frigidaire Oven this time. So far the stove will boil water quicker and heats pans evenly. We also like the “bridge” heating element. The oven also heats up quickly and cooks food evenly as well. There doesn’t seem to be any spot that doesn’t get heat.
