Excellent product in every way

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow. Excellent stove. The air fryer works so well we were able to get rid of our old fryer and now have more counter space. I tried the convection roast setting yesterday to make country ribs and they were perfect. They were juicy inside yet cooked well and brown on the outside. So much faster than usual. I also luv that it has the option to clean the oven with water or high heat. I only use the heat method. It cleans the oven very well! The last stove we had only had water/steam clean which never cleaned well. This stove cleans like an old stove I had and loved. Can’t find anything negative to say. It is an excellent stove in all aspects. Well done Frigidaire

New version is great but manual needs updating

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Review of Frigidaire Convection Oven with Air Fry (Model Number: GCRE3060BF)
(Delivery and installation: We learned that Lowes will not assist with installation at all unless you buy their power cord. We had decided to use our own power cord, so we had to install ourselves. The men who delivered the oven knew nothing about the oven—not even how to remove the door, which we needed to do to move the oven into the kitchen. Installation was fairly straight-forward, except for a couple of things: The cover for the power terminals on the back of the oven requires a torx screwdriver, which is not indicated in the installation kit/manual. We noticed that the user's manual also had some discrepancies; it seems like it had not been updated for our range model. Removing the oven doors in order to fit it through a tight space required watching some videos online as instruction for that were not clear.)
The oven looked beautiful and fit perfectly into our kitchen. It generated a bit of smoke and odor when we first tried the oven, but this cleared after operating the oven for a short time.
The cooktop is lovely but requires extra effort to keep clean and streak-free. we like the demarcations of the burner locations – great when using sauce pans. We wish one of the burners was a bit smaller, but over-all, we are very pleased both with the appearance and functionality of the cooktop.
One small issue we found is that each burner control knob is unique, and you need to install each of them in a specific location. If you remove the knobs, for example to clean them, you need to pay attention to where each knob needs to be reinstalled. Also, the knob which controls the front left burner (as well as the middle section of the bridge between the left front and back burners) is not marked for that purpose, but, rather, as though the burner was a dual power burner. The manual doesn’t make this distinction either – possibly not updated for our model?
We have always used an Alexa Echo next to our range to set timers using voice requests, and we can hear timer completions (via Alexa) throughout our house, but we appreciate the Frigidaire oven timer because it adds some useful capabilities. We will definitely use the oven timer for some things, especially since it will turn off the oven when using the cook-timer. (Note: other reviews have mentioned the Frigidaire timer signals being hard to hear, but we found no such difficulty and hear it easily.)
In bake mode, the range displays the current temperature inside the oven (as it preheats and when it is in operation at the selected cook temperature), which is a nice feature. GE ranges, for example, don't do this. Oddly, our range does not indicate the current temperature in 'air fry' mode, only the temperature you have input for cooking.
We used two external oven thermometers to check the calibration of the oven thermostat. We found that the oven temperature was actually about 20F lower than the oven indicated in 'bake' mode, but 40 degrees higher than indicated in 'air fry'. We are unsure if this difference is due to the oven programming (to compensate for the convection effect) or if it is actually a miscalibration. (We might need to set the temperature lower in 'air fry' mode to compensate if it is indeed a miscalibration, but time and experience will tell.) Other new owners might want to use an oven thermometer to check the calibration of their unit, or Frigidaire could explain more in their manuals. During testing, we found that when the oven was set to 350°F in standard bake mode, it consistently ran about 10-20 degrees cooler according to our external thermometer. While in convection bake mode, though, it actually ran about 20 degrees hotter than the oven’s thermometer indicated. Users can attempt to tinker with the oven's temperature calibration settings, but most folks may not be aware of the issue and could potentially face over- and under-cooked dishes over time. After using the over for a couple of weeks, we have found that setting the oven to the ‘normal’ temperature suggested in any recipe will result in it baking properly. We think this means that oven automatically compensates for the convection fan use (and yes, it turns on even when not in ‘convection bake’ mode).
The ’Steam Bake’ setting was new to us. We tried it, using tap water, for baking some bread, but were not impressed with the outcome. Further use and experiments will be needed. The tap water left an unsightly residue in the bottom of the over, but it was removed easily with vinegar. The manual DOES mention that distilled water should be used if ‘Steam Bake is used frequently, but it is not highlighted or easy to see if you don’t read ALL of the instructions carefully.

Not safe if you have children in the home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The knobs on the front of this are far too easy to turn. There are only adults in our home, but in less than two weeks we've had two close calls where someone must've accidentally brushed by the knobs while walking through the kitchen and the range cover on the stove top started smoking. It does require a slight push to turn the knobs, but somehow we've still had two close calls in only two weeks. I don't understand how it's happened, but I would love this stove if not for the fact that now I'm terrified of burning my house down.

Love this range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A lot of features on this range. Haven’t used them all yet but the range works great. Used the air fryer for wings and they came out great. Plus with the size of the oven I can make enough wings for everyone at one time.
