I’m new to treadmills and have a small home so I needed a foldable one. I am working on getting several autoimmune illnesses back into remission and am at the point where walking is possible, but not in the heat or cold outside, so a treadmill seemed like a good idea. This x21 has been really great in the two weeks I’ve had it. I got it on sale and the price has even increased since I got it at the new year, yeesh. It’s easy enough to lug into place (about 4 feet from where it’s stored) and open it up, and I don’t have much strength anymore so if I can do it, most people shouldn’t have a problem. The transport wheels are utterly useless on anything besides hard flooring. The dial and display are perfect and feel fancy. Smooth action, large bright display. My walking stride jiggles the unit and display/safety bar a lot (my tv remote and phone have shimmied off and fallen a few times) but I’m working on taking softer strides and that seems to alleviate that. I do notice the fold point as I walk, like other reviewers have noted, but it doesn’t bother me at all- I just imagine it’s a sidewalk crease. I can’t speak for longevity or how it physically holds up, but two weeks in I’ve thrown away the return box, bought a new pair of walking shoes, and am ready to keep getting healthier and stronger! I would definitely recommend it if you don’t have space for a more solid treadmill, but also recommend to wait for it to go on sale to really make it worth the purchase.
