Great hands free pump

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this breast pump to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was very excited to test out a hands free pump. I am currently exclusively pumping for my 7 month old and it was a great opportunity to be able to pump and work on other things at the same time.
The Pump in Style Hands-free Brest pump worked great for me. The pump had great suction. The amount of milk I was able to get was comparable to what I get with my traditional pump. It was easy to wear with sports bras, regular bras and nursing bras.
The pump comes with a plug in cord as well as a battery pack if you are away from an outlet. The battery pack was a great alternative to use while traveling. I took the pump with me on weekend getaway and it was nice to not have to worry about finding a place to plug in.
My one complaint about the pump was that the collection cups were a little difficult to assemble. At one point, the suction was not working for me and I could not figure out why. I disassembled and reassembled multiple times before I realized the cup was slightly ajar. It was difficult to get it to fully click in.
Overall, I loved the Pump in Style Hands-free Brest pump! It was great to be able to pump and do other things at the same time. I would definitely recommend the pump!

Great addition to my current routine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy I was able to test this through the stellar review panel. I decided I would test this pump out by adding it as a pump in between sessions, when I wanted to see if I could get some work done, or be mobile instead of plugged into a wall. I primarily use a pump buy a different brand that allows me to adjust each breast manually and has all the bells and whistles. I swore that was the only pump that would work for me however this one seem to allow me to break away from my usual, pumping location and still keep my milk production up with no noticeable change. I could easily see myself using this as a primary pump, and I find myself using it more and more. Highly recommend.

I wanted to love it more

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to be selected by the Stellar Product Testing Panel for the Pump in style hands free pump. Overall, I think it's an ok pump. I don't think the suction was as great as other pumps I've tried that AREN'T hands free. I definitely did not get as much milk in the same amount of time as my other pump. I think it is absolutely wonderful to use when I was driving to and from work. It did fit in my nursing bra. I'm blessed up top so I recommend sizing up in you bra if you plan on using the hands free option because I JUST fit. It could be my size, but I wasn't able to really move around without spilling milk or the pump slipping off. This pump was also a breeze to put together and to clean up which is always a plus!!!

Nice addition to your pumping bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was super excited when I opened up the box to see what was sent. I had wanted to try one of these pumps, but wasn't going to spend the money since my pump worked fine.
Overall, I like this pump. I like the fact that you can just pop the cups into your nursing tank and not have to wear a special bra for pumping. This did make the cups feel less secure than when wearing a pumping bra, but not enough that it made me worried about moving around.
I made dinner while wearing them the first go around and found the cups to be a bit in the way since they stick out like you have a bullet bra on. So, that took a bit of adjusting, but not any more than a traditional pump. When using the pump with the battery pack it makes the pump portable, but you need some kind of bag to carry it with you otherwise you have to hold it. I also found this pump to be louder than the other pump I was using.
My milk output between the old pump and this one was pretty even, but doing any breast massage while the pump was in place proved more difficult for me. I kept messing up the suction.
The thing I loved was that there are only three parts to the collection cup. I am constantly forgetting to get all the pieces when I pack up in the morning to go to work. Having only three pieces to snap together was awesome.
That being said, I would like to see more pumps come with inserts to adjust the size of the flange without having to buy new flanges or inserts just to use the pump. It seems unfair to make a new mom hunt and do research to find the right size and buy more parts.
For a mom who knows what she's doing, and wants more options when pumping, this is a great buy. For a new to pumping mom I'm not sure I would have this be the first option.

A great pump for multitasking mommas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel,qqq I got to try the Pump in Style Hands-free breast pump. My first impressions of this pump was that it's compact and lightweight. I liked the pumping cups and their relatively slim profile. I was pretty skeptical that this pump would have good suction due to its size, but I was definitely proven wrong.
My favorite things about this pump were the size and power. It is smaller than my normal pump, but it still allowed me to express the same amount of milk (other hands free options I've tried didn't even get me half of what I normally produce).
I also liked the hands free cups. I've tried similar products but these are by far better. Their profile is very slim and they have minimal parts which makes cleaning super quick and easy. I would pump at work and people would have entire conversations before realizing what I was doing. Transferring milk from the cups to bottles is also super simple with the easy pour spout. Sometimes the milk would get stuck, but I would just have to tilt it slightly to get the milk flowing again.
The pump operation was very simple. I liked that it switched from stimulation mode to expression mode automatically. Adjusting the suction was also simple with the + and - buttons. I would prefer to have a display with a timer but that is really my only complaint about this pump.
The pump also came with a battery pack to make it truly a pump on the go option. I was able to set it up and pump while driving which was super convenient for a working mom with lots of places to be. I think I'd prefer a car adapter (maybe there is one I could purchase, but there was not one out of the box). The pump seemed to work just as well with the battery pack as the wall plug. If I could add one thing it would be an indicator to let me know how much power was left.
Overall this was a fantastic pump. It has great suction power, is very convenient with the handsfree cups, and is lightweight for maximum portability. The Pump in Style Hands-free is now my go to pump.

Pump in Style Hands free Review

The Pump in Style Hands-free has been the best product for a momma that has a lot of tasks during the day. To preface I have a toddler and a newborn that keep my hands full not to mention the tasks that I aim to complete in the house through out the day. This product had a lot to offer starting with the cups. The cups were very easy to assemble and disassemble. They are fairly discreet when wearing them, and are so comfortable I didn't even know I was wearing them some of the time. The product only comes with 21mm or 24mm flanges and that was a bit bigger than what I needed so I did have to order a flange insert that was a better fit for my breast.
The pump itself has a descent motor. While using the motor that plugs in to an outlet the motor was a little noisy but not so much to where I couldn't have a conversation or be heard by my kids. The hands feee pump is very strong when it comes to suction. I am not over exaggerating when I say that I have received the most milk out of my supply while using this pump. Within 15 minutes I can accumalate over 6 ounces of milk, while before using the hands free pump I was lucky to get 3 ounces from both breast. The pump will automatically switch from letdown to expression mode which I enjoy because that is how my newborn usually feeds and what my breast respond the best to. You also have the option to go back to let down if that is what you prefer.
With this Medela pump I as able to breastfeed my newborn comfortably while pumping. I was even able to fold laundry, read books to my toddler, and even cook!
The only con I can say about this pump is the fact that I have to clean extra storage containers because you can't just put the pump cups in the fridge.
Overall it is an amazing (life changing even) breast pump. I think this perfect for a busy mom like my self and I use it everyday, if not twice a day. I would recommend this to any one looking for a great pump!

Convenient and Efficient Hands Free Pump

My first impression of this hands-free pump was that it looks very sleek and slim and everything felt pretty lightweight. I loved that the cups were transparent to make it easy for aligning in the right position as well as being able to easily see how much milk had been collected while still pumping. During my first use I could clearly see I was getting just as much expressed as I do from my (non hands-free) pump. That's a huge win when it comes to getting convenience and comfort and not having to sacrifice efficiency and quantity. Cleaning and assembling was also a breeze, which for me always feels like the biggest chore, so I sure appreciate the time and energy I am able to save cleaning this.
While using the pump I was able to multi-task doing things nearby. I could easily use my phone and computer to get a couple things done (in fact I'm using it as I type this) and because I chose to use the battery/power pack most of the time I was able to easily move rooms or areas while pumping and just take it along with me. So I could move from the living room to the kitchen and etc. Now because it still has the pump connected I couldn't vacuum or something like that, but I definitely was happy with what I was able to do.
Now one huge benefit for me is that using this seemed to increase my supply a bit. I definitely don't have an under supply but throughout my time using this once a day about 4-5 times a week I saw the amount I was collecting each time increase. It didn't increase to the point that I was getting engorged or uncomfortable if I wasn't able to pump, just enough to increase my collected amount by a couple ounces over the span of using it.
Probably my favorite feature of this is the sleek well-fitted collection cups that make pumping feel so much more comfortable and less cumbersome while also being able to use my hands . Pair this with the strong comfortable pump and it's definitely a win! Everything was so easy to use and adjust power. Simple, effective and efficient. This pump is absolutely a game changer.

Great Pump

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My overall impression of this pump I would say a 8/10. I definitely liked the pump! My output was similar to my other hospital-grade pump that empties me completely, except that one isn’t hands free so it’s good to know a hands free pump can produce the same output. The Medela pump is also easy to assemble which I thought was the most helpful feature because it didn’t have a ton of parts that needed to be washed after every use. One thing I will say it that it’s really hard to multi-task with this kind of pump because the actual breast pump (not the cups) has to be stationary if it’s plugged in the wall, so you can’t walk around with it unless you use the battery pack which still is a lot because you have to carry both just to move around. It’s not like a pump that can be clipped onto your pants and you can walk around and do whatever. Then again, the pump is similar to a hospital-grade pump which produces the most output unlike portable clip-on pumps that may not produce as much milk. I also don’t really like how the pump strength starts at a high level, I typically have to decrease the strength first and then ease my way up to a level that’s most comfortable for me. I wish the strength started at its lowest that way it doesn’t hurt as soon as you turn it on.
My typical output is 4-7 ounces per pump and the Medela hands free pump was able to produce just as much like my other hospital-grade pump that I use which I thought was amazing! I definitely plan to continue to use this pump. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
