Great Pump on the Go

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Medela Pump In Style Hands Free pump is a fantastic addition for this exclusive pumper! I love how comfortable the cups fit and how easy it is to just stick them in my bra and continue on with what I was doing. The pump has multiple settings and strengths, which is great as well! I particularly like that it gives me the option to pump while multitasking or stay hooked up to the wall and pump sitting down as well. I cannot emphasize enough how comfortable this pump is. Additionally, it has minimal parts to clean!! I didn’t see any positive or negative impact in my supply as I pumped the same as I usually do. The only reason I gave this pump 4 stars instead of 5 is because there isn’t a screen on the pump to show what setting you are on or how long you have been pumping. Otherwise, I highly recommend using this pump! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this breast pump.

High hopes but not a great pump

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this breast pump from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest feedback. I was really excited at the idea of trying a wearable pump that was as strong as a regular Medela Pump In Style but this wearable version was a disappointment. It is extremely noisy and needs to be plugged into an outlet or battery pack. There is no display so I couldn’t tell what setting the pump was on. But most of all, I did not pump much milk with this (maybe 3 oz vs. the usual 5-6 after 1 hr plus) and spent a lot of time trying to get my supply back up. I don’t recommend this pump due to it being difficult to use and the hit to my supply. I don’t think I want to try it again and instead willl stick to the spectra and Hakaa manual pump.

Awesome Hands free pump from excellent brand

The suction was a bit tricky at first but overall I got similar out pump to my normal plug in pump. This is also perfect for working moms who need an Option that doesn’t require being tethered to a specific spot. This was also great when my baby who is combo fed needed to be held but I also needed to pump! It is honestly one of the best hands free pumps I have tried backed by a tried and true brand! If you’re on the fence, I highly recommend this hands free pump to any busy mom! Thank you so much to stellar panel for gifting this product to me to test.

Pump In Style Hands Free

Overall, I do like this pump and use it a couple times per week. It’s a bit bulky, so not as “portable” as I’d hope it to be. Instead of a rechargeable battery, it has a plug in battery pack that takes AA batteries. You can also use it plugged into an outlet.
My favorite part of this pump was that the collection cups stand up on their own and they stay put! I worried a lot less about spilling than with other collection cups/bottles. I also really like that it came with 2 size options for flanges so I could make sure I got a comfortable and functional fit.
I didn’t love how loud this pump is. It makes a ton of noise. I tried putting it on top of a cushy jacket to dull it, but it was still pretty loud even then. At work, my pump space is private, but has thin walls. So I felt a bit self conscious of the noise. I definitely could not have gotten away with using it during a remote meeting due to the sound.
I did get the same amount of milk that I do with a regular (not handsfree/portable) pump so that was a plus! I know milk removal can be a concern with hands free pumps. I do think I could maintain my supply well using this pump alone.
The hands free aspect is really helpful. I was able to use it driving to work to cut down on my pump time at work. While it was a bit bulky in the car, it stayed put and didn’t spill on my commute! I also like that I can use it without lifting up my shirt and changing bras or wearing a pumping bra. I felt more comfortable being less exposed because of the cups fitting in my bra.
All in all, this pump remains in my rotation! I don’t use it every time due to the noise, but I do like the convenience of the hands free style as well as the stability of the collection cups (no spilled milk!)

Cups are great need more powerful suction

I like the collection cups and how they are tip-free. They are also very lightweight and easy to wear as well as clean. I like that they are only 3 parts! I love that I can put these in my bra and hook up the pump pretty easily.
I like that this pump has the option to be plugged in and can also be run on batteries.
I am not a fan of 1 tube coming from the pump and separating into 2 tubes and connecting to the cups. I feel like the suction/vacuum power was not as powerful as it would have been if there were 2 separate tubes coming from the pump.
I wish the cups were a little easier to see into so I could know when I was done pumping. The fog up very easily and have a most frosted appearance.
I did notice a difference in pumping and the amount that I get while using this pump. Please change the design to be 2 separate tubes.

Gets the job done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited when I received this pump as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. However after using the product I was a little disappointed. I will say the pump is very easy to set up for use and clean which I really like. There are only a few pieces to the pump so very easy to take apart and clean. I also really like the battery pack it comes with so I don’t have to be plugged into the wall the whole time. But what I didn’t like about it was that there was no display to be able to tell the vacuum/suction settings I was on and how long I was pumping for. They claim it is hands free but it really isn’t because you have to hold the actual pump, just not the flanges while pumping. I guess you could put it in a pocket or something if it was big enough. Also the cups didn’t really work for my nipples. I felt like my nipples weren’t getting sucked into the cups enough to fully get the milk out. I don’t think it had to do with flange size, more of the shape of the cup. When dumping out the milk into a bag or cup, you have to be careful because it might come out of the center too if there’s still milk sitting in there. I will use this pump as my on the go pump since it is more compact and it gets the job done, just not going to use it as an every day pump. Overall though decent pump, just not my favorite.

I really wanted to love this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited by the concept, but this was a miss for me. I loved the shaping and simplicity of the pumping "cups"; they were so easy to use and clean. It was also helpful to pump one side while breastfeeding on the other (without needing a hand to hold it in place). However, for whatever reason, it simply failed to get more than about a teaspoon of milk each time I used it. I'm not sure if this has to do with the size or not; the pump comes with 21mm and 24mm, while I usually use a 28mm flange. I also found the pump suction feeling to be rather odd. I never felt like it was actually suctioning the nipple, though I made sure that it was fully sealed/suctioned in place. So, ultimately, I wanted this pump to work but found it didn't perform for me. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review, as a member of the Stellar product testing panel.

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this hands free breast pump as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have had 5 different breast pumps, 3 being hands free. This BP is by far the lightest and most efficient in my milk supply output! I’m not sure what makes it increase my milk supply, but it did! Also, I wore this BP with friends in my home and they didn’t even know I was wearing it. The cups are not bulky and the machine is not noisy/loud. Highly recommend this pump!
