Love a good hands free pump

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve always been a fan of Medela pumps with my previous 3 children and was so excited to finally try the hands free option! It’s such a game changer to be able to multi task and not feel confined for such a large part of your day. It’s easy to assemble, clean, and use. Having only 3 parts to wash keeps things simple! Suction is great and didn’t going hands free didn’t have any negative affect on my supply!

Pump anywhere with Ease

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pumps are amazing! If you’re a busy mom on the go, these are for you. I am someone who likes to keep busy and be out and about. I cannot always be with my little one for feedings. These pumps have given me some freedom back. I have pumped in the car, on a boat, and while sitting by the pool. Since you can pump with a battery pack, you have the freedom to pump wherever you are whenever you need to - without hunting down a private area with an outlet. The nice part is that you can still plug the machine into an outlet when you are at home. It’s like a 2-in-1 pump! I am someone that has struggled with other pumps in the past, but I never had any issues with this pump. It has maintained my milk supply to keep my little peanut well fed. One of the features that really stood out to me was the transparency of the pumps. It allowed for me to see if I was supplying while pumping. I highly recommend this pump! It gets the job done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this breast pump to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall, it’s a decent pump for the price. It gets the job done. It’s easy to work, not overly cumbersome to clean , and it keeps me from having to wear a special bra in order to keep my hands free.
The suction was decent once I figured out the position. I’m not a huge fan of the large, yellow membrane positioned at the top of the cup, as it blocks me from seeing if it’s positioned well. I also had issues getting the O-ring back in place; I had to adjust and twist it into the correct angle along the breast shield after every wash. As far as multitasking while using it, I was limited to whatever was in reach since I was tethered to the pump which needs to be plugged into a wall or separate battery pack.

Strong Suction and Easy to Clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this breast pump to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. There are pros and cons to this breast pump. The unit is small and portable making it easy to take to work or on the go. It isn't very loud. The battery pack is nice because you can use it where you don't have access to a power outlet. The parts are super easy to assemble and disassemble and also to clean. I like that there aren't many pieces to keep track of and you can set it up quickly. The suction is really good and strong and has suction levels you can adjust up or down. The pump automatically starts in "stimulation" or "let-down" mode, and switches to "expression" mode after 1 minute. You can press the "stimulation" button if you want to start or stop that feature throughout your session. The pump cups are easy to see through so you can check nipple placement easily and see how full the milk levels are at. You can use this as a single or double sided pump. I love the hands-free factor! This pump allows me to wear it while working on my computer or phone, reading, etc. and not have to sit there holding the flanges onto my breasts.
The biggest con for me on this pump is the lack of a screen/timer. I like to be able to see how long I have been pumping. There are also no indicators that show what "setting" you are using, only up and down arrows. That does make for simple, fool-proof use; however it makes it hard to keep track of what "setting" works best for you. I would prefer a screen of some type on the pump so I could see time used and suction level settings.
As far as emptying my breasts, this pump does a good job of doing so in a timely manner. I feel like it provides a good output and amount of milk and is comparable to my usual pump amounts. The pour spouts on the cups are easy to pour from. There is sometimes a bit of milk that stays in the flange part after you end your session, so beware of that when taking off the pump.
I think my favorite part about this breast pump is how simple it is to assemble and disassemble. The fact that there aren't a ton of tiny parts to clean like there are in other hands-free pumps I have tried is a huge plus. It's so easy to clean and use. This pump is great for me to take to work because of it's smaller, easy to pack size, the ease of cleaning the parts quickly, and the fact that it empties me in a speedy way so that I can get back to work in a timely manner.

Game Changer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pump has completely transformed the way pumping affects my daily life. With my first daughter, I only had a pump that you strapped on with a special bra and had to nearly entirely undress to accomplish the task. I had to pump in closets at work and sit by myself at home whenever I needed to pump. I thought I was going to be doomed to repeat this experience throughout the nursing journey with my second daughter, until I received news that the Stellar Product Testing Panel needed me to try out the Medela Pump-in-Style Hands-Free breast pump! I no longer have to miss lunch with my colleagues because the collection cups fit easily in my bra and I can discreetly pump at lunch. I tried some other brand of collection cups that worked with my old pump, but they didn’t even come close to fitting in my bra so it didn’t help at all. In addition to being discreet, they are efficient! I am able to express so much milk in a short amount of time. As a mama who struggled with supply issues early on, knowing I can get every last drop in a convenient time frame is a major relief. I feel like my milk supply has actually increased since I started using this pump—it’s awesome! My only wish is that it was a little more portable—the battery option is cumbersome, and having to find an outlet to plug in isn’t always convenient. Even with that, though, it had absolutely revolutionized my pumping experience and I am so grateful to Stellar for sending this my way!

Nice portable pump

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice portable breast pump. I was able to use this pump while being able to freely use my hands for whatever my baby needed. The fact that I was able to move freely & not be tied down by a cord was amazing for me. I love how it’s only a few parts to wash which makes for an easy clean up between pumps. I will say that it was a bit challenging with certain breastfeeding attire to secure the hands free pumps at times. With this pump I was able to pump a decent amount but not my normal amount I’m used to pumping prior to having this breast pump. What I loved the most about this pump was it really is hands free once you have the correct attire to wear while pumping.

Great hands free cups ok pump

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this breast pump from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I really wanted to like this pump more than I did. I was so excited when I saw the cups - they are completely hands free and very well made. You don’t need a pumping bra and they’re much more discreet than other hands free cups. But, the pump itself just wasn’t my favorite. While the cups are hands free, the pump isn’t. You can plug it into the wall or use the battery pack to make it more mobile, but you can’t move around freely with it. This would work great for someone at a desk. I also consistently pumped about an ounce less compared with other pumps, so it’s not a pump I’d use regularly.

Great Hands Free Option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a larger chested mama, I was so excited to try a hands free pump! I have held off on purchasing a true hands free breast pump because I wasn't sure that they would work for my size - but I'm so thankful that Stellar Product Testing Panel sent this for me to try! And I now I know and can tell others, that it works!
This is a great pump for multitasking and I was able to work so much easier than getting set up with a hands free bra, plugging everything in, and getting all pump parts together like I'm used to. I loved that there are only three pieces to each cup - and they are easy to assemble!
It was also really easy to get my nipples in position! And while moving around, they never came off or moved out of place. I loved that!
The stand out for me on this pump was the pour feature!!! Makes it so easy to pour for fridge or freezer storage! Genius and made my life so much better with less spills to clean!
Things that were not so great:
I wouldn't say it is as strong of a suction as my other pump but that being said, it didn't really decrease my supply - I just knew that I wasn't likely going to get as much volume as I typically do. For me, it was worth the small sacrifice of an ounce less for the ease and convenience!
I thought the pump itself was heavier than expected. It was easy enough to move around when I was doing chores at home but it was heavier than I thought. It would be better for me if it could clip to my body or be a bit lighter.
This pump only comes with 21 and 24 sized flanges - I hope they offer larger sizes soon! I have a need for one 24 and one 27...so I believe the pumped would have worked better for me with the option to order and purchase a 27mm.
Overall, I'm so excited to have a hands free option that works with my size of chest and I will definitely continue to use as another pumping option (especially for on-the-go, in the car and around the house). A few improvements and this would quickly become a 5 star product for me!
