[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As the mother of an infant and an extremely busy toddler, the Hands Free Medela Pump made my days easier and that freezer stash so much larger. I loved the versatility of being able to use the battery pack or to use the wall plug. The pump was comfortable and efficient. I loved that two sizes or flanges were included. I’m so grateful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me this pump to review. It has changed the game i my house.

Great hands free pump

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was previously using a different hands-free pump when I received this one as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall I am very impressed with this pump! I have used it for close to two weeks now and much prefer it to my old one. I have a busy schedule and find a pump that I have to sit down to use quite constraining. This pump is hands-free, but also lightweight, so it isn't uncomfortable to leave on while walking around, sitting at a desk, or doing household chores. It is also very easy to clean and doesn't have many parts. It can fit comfortably into my bra, and the cups are shaped in a way that they don't dig in or cause discomfort while the vacuum pressure is on. It is also much quieter than other similar breast pumps that I have come across. I think it's important to mention, however, that the hands-free pumps are not quite as good at removing all your milk as the ones that require a plugged-in sit-down. While this may may be a deal-breaker for some, I think it's a reasonable trade-off for the freedom of being able to walk around and go about my day while pumping at the same time.

Best breast pump

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me this awesome breast pump to try and review! I'll start by saying I love it. The pump I used before required a pumping bra in order to make it hands-free, and the Medela Pump In Style does not. The cups just sit right inside your regular bra! You can use the pump either corded (plugged into a wall) or cordless with the included battery pack, which requires four AA batteries. The pumps are very comfortable, so I was actually able to work some on my PC while pumping. There are only three parts per pump, so cleaning afterwards is a breeze! My favorite part of the whole thing is that the pump is totally portable. You can stash it into a diaper bag or large purse for trips and the battery pack even allows you to comfortably and discreetly pump in your car if needed.
One last thing that I'd like to mention is that using this pump did in fact increase my milk production - not significantly so, but around an ounce per pump. I'm sure this is something that will vary by user but I wanted to point that out because the pump is advertised as being able to increase production.
Overall, this is a very comfortable, practical, amazing little pump that I would recommend to any and every breastfeeding/exclusively pumping mother.
One last thing that I'd like to mention is that using this pump did in fact increase my milk production - not significantly so, but around an ounce per pump. Very comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that this is a very nice, very comfortable pump. I have used other hand free pumps and they look awkward and almost always leak. I felt like this one was less obvious and I didn't have any problems with leaking. I was able to pump in my car on my way to work. I also used it while I was doing chores at home. I only pump when i am not around my baby so I don't really know if it impacted my supply positive or negative. Overall I like the convenience of being hands free. It really frees me up to do other things. I recieved the product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Pump in style and in love

I am historically an “almost-enough-er” and was hoping that this pump would be at least equivalent in milk removal efficiency to others I tried. To my pleasant surprise, it was very effective at removing milk, with the added bonus of being hands free! Pumping can be so difficult for me with both a 3 month old and a 2 year old at home. To be able to use my hands and do a little bit of multitasking was a game changer. I will definitely be enjoying this pump, and I highly recommend to others!

MUST HAVE For Multitasking Mamas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is now my go-to pump. I choose it over my hospital rated pump even. But it did take a bit for me to adjust to it.
At first, I felt like I wanted to love this product but found that I really didn’t like it much. I hadn’t used a hands-free pump before and wasn’t sure really what to expect from it, but had high expectations. After a little bit more time using it, I came to really LOVE it for many reasons.
I found myself pumping while cooking dinner, doing dishes, doing work, playing with my baby, taking care of my older 2 kids. I was no longer stuck holding the flanges to make sure I expressed as much milk as possible but now I could put the flanges on and use both hands to do something else. This has been new and exciting for me.
I am incredibly thrilled with the milk expression I get from using this pump. It’s similar to my other hospital grade pump BUT I don’t have to hold the flanges in order to express the same amount of milk!
My favorite feature about it is how fast you can start pumping. It’s super easy to assemble and all you have to do is pop it in your bra, attach the tubes, and hit start. BOOM. That’s all. No more switching to a pumping bra, then carefully placing the flanges, then attaching the tubes, then starting the pump all while holding the flanges to keep the milk expression efficient. Your bra does that for you. Not having to change your bra is super impactful. And having your hands be free is obviously a huge bonus.
I do have some suggestions for new users- don’t be discouraged if you hate it at first. It’s an adjustment. When it comes to transferring your milk to a bottle or bag, you will get the hang of it quickly. It’s easy to simply use the holes at the top and pour the milk from there, this scared me the first few times but it worked perfectly.
I do wish that the pump itself were smaller so you could just attach it to your clothes or put it in your pocket but I understand that this is the most popular pump and this pump isn’t small. I wish it came with like a fanny pack or something. Other than that, I love it! It’s now a must have of mine.

Pump in Style Hands free Review

The Pump in Style Hands-free has been the best product for a momma that has a lot of tasks during the day. To preface I have a toddler and a newborn that keep my hands full not to mention the tasks that I aim to complete in the house through out the day. This product had a lot to offer starting with the cups. The cups were very easy to assemble and disassemble. They are fairly discreet when wearing them, and are so comfortable I didn't even know I was wearing them some of the time. The product only comes with 21mm or 24mm flanges and that was a bit bigger than what I needed so I did have to order a flange insert that was a better fit for my breast.
The pump itself has a descent motor. While using the motor that plugs in to an outlet the motor was a little noisy but not so much to where I couldn't have a conversation or be heard by my kids. The hands feee pump is very strong when it comes to suction. I am not over exaggerating when I say that I have received the most milk out of my supply while using this pump. Within 15 minutes I can accumalate over 6 ounces of milk, while before using the hands free pump I was lucky to get 3 ounces from both breast. The pump will automatically switch from letdown to expression mode which I enjoy because that is how my newborn usually feeds and what my breast respond the best to. You also have the option to go back to let down if that is what you prefer.
With this Medela pump I as able to breastfeed my newborn comfortably while pumping. I was even able to fold laundry, read books to my toddler, and even cook!
The only con I can say about this pump is the fact that I have to clean extra storage containers because you can't just put the pump cups in the fridge.
Overall it is an amazing (life changing even) breast pump. I think this perfect for a busy mom like my self and I use it everyday, if not twice a day. I would recommend this to any one looking for a great pump!

Convenient and Efficient Hands Free Pump

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this pump. My first impression of this hands-free pump was that it looks very sleek and slim and everything felt pretty lightweight. I loved that the cups were transparent to make it easy for aligning in the right position as well as being able to easily see how much milk had been collected while still pumping. During my first use I could clearly see I was getting just as much expressed as I do from my (non hands-free) pump. That's a huge win when it comes to getting convenience and comfort and not having to sacrifice efficiency and quantity. Cleaning and assembling was also a breeze, which for me always feels like the biggest chore, so I sure appreciate the time and energy I am able to save cleaning this.
While using the pump I was able to multi-task doing things nearby. I could easily use my phone and computer to get a couple things done (in fact I'm using it as I type this) and because I chose to use the battery/power pack most of the time I was able to easily move rooms or areas while pumping and just take it along with me. So I could move from the living room to the kitchen and etc. Now because it still has the pump connected I couldn't vacuum or something like that, but I definitely was happy with what I was able to do.
Now one huge benefit for me is that using this seemed to increase my supply a bit. I definitely don't have an under supply but throughout my time using this once a day about 4-5 times a week I saw the amount I was collecting each time increase. It didn't increase to the point that I was getting engorged or uncomfortable if I wasn't able to pump, just enough to increase my collected amount by a couple ounces over the span of using it.
Probably my favorite feature of this is the sleek well-fitted collection cups that make pumping feel so much more comfortable and less cumbersome while also being able to use my hands . Pair this with the strong comfortable pump and it's definitely a win! Everything was so easy to use and adjust power. Simple, effective and efficient. This pump is absolutely a game changer.
