Love this new style of breast pumps

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I nursed and pumped for my two older children over the course of 3 years. I am now pumping for my 9 month old baby. The new Medela Pump in Style setup is incredible! I can see similarities between the original Pump in Style and this one. The biggest improvement is the round cups for expressing milk. They are much more comfortable than the horn shaped breast pumps from Medela’s past. I found the new style to be more efficient as well. I was able to pump for a longer period of time because I could comfortably read a book or browse the internet with my laptop in front of me. I love the size of the pump mechanism. It was easy for me to pack and bring with me so that I could easily pump while at work or on the go. It fits great inside my diaper bag. I used it tethered to the wall 90% of the time. I tried the battery pack and didn’t see any difference in functionality. It worked just as well. The cups can be a little awkward when assembling and disassembling the first few times but it definitely gets easier. It made me feel like the seal would last longer over time and I appreciate that. Overall, I love the new design and it was a great step in the right direction for breast pumping. I received this breast pump from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Hands free but not portable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this breast pump. The pump in style hands-free was convenient but not portable. I love that the collection cups fit in my bra and I am not worried that my 6 month old or toddler will knock it out and spill my precious milk. I was able to hold my 6 month old baby while pumping. However, I wasn’t able to move around since the Maxflow pump isn’t the most portable pump. Compared to other wearable pumps or hands free pumps, I love how this has only 3 parts and it is dishwasher safe. It is very easy to clean and I am not washing pump parts for half of my day.

Busy mom must have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’d like to thank the stellar parent panel for providing me me with the pump in style hands free in exchange for my honest review! Upon opening this pump I was very impressed with its sleek look. The hands free collection cups were smaller than I thought, which is a good thing. They were not too noticeable in my bra and were very comfortable. As I started pumping I noticed them leaking very badly out of the bottom, I took it apart and re red the instructions and I was doing everything right. Upon further inspection I noticed the seal missing from one set of the flanges causing huge leakage issues which nobody likes to see. The other set of flanges did have the seal so I switched them despite being the wrong size flange for me. After the mishap with the seal the pump is very comfortable, a little bit loud for my liking but the hands free option really helps when you’re a busy mom of four and need the extra hands. All in all I really did enjoy this pump and will continue to use it in the future despite the seal being off. I pumped for a total of ten minutes and got a an ounce more than I would with my usual pump! Transferring the milk to a bottle was flawless and very simple. Only being three pieces washing was a DREAM! I think the medela Pump in style hands free is a really awesome pump for mommas who need to multi task and want less complicated parts to wash!

Amazing hands free pump

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this hands free pump from Stellar Reviews for my honest review. I am usually an exclusive breastfeeding mom but I like to pump a few bottles here and there for when I need to be away from my baby. Because I also have a toddler, the ability to have a hands free pump was such a life changer! I was able to still help my toddler with things while I pumped.
First the pros of this pump- 1. Hands free and fits in my bra
2. Really easy to put together
3. The pump is so easy to use! The functions of the let down and pump was very easy to figure out.
4. The spout at the top is the absolute best and allows you to pour the milk straight into bottles/bags.
5. The ability to be battery operated so you can take it on the go.
6. Easy to clean except for the narrow part of the pump- just make sure you have a small enough brush to scrub that part.

2. I wish the suction was higher because although I was able to get a decent amount of milk, I am able to get more with my non hands free pump.

Convenient and Easy to Use Portable Pump

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed using the Medela Pump in Style Hands-free instead of a traditional pump. I have 3 children now and I need to pump on the go. This pump made it so easy and always felt secure, and I never felt uncomfortable. I was able to use this doing chores around the house, chasing my older kids, and while driving. This pump has made my breast feeding journey much easier than anticipated. The parts are easy to clean and sanitize and put back together & the instructions were easy to follow. I am larger busted so I didn’t feel it was super discreet, but it didn’t bother me as much. Different dose options for the cups may be a good addition. Troubles with Leaking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the concept of this pump and was excited to receive it as part of a Stellar Review panel. I have used a Medela pump before and really like how their other hands free options work, and this one that fits in my own bra vs having to change to a “pumping” bra was a great step forward for me. The compact nature of this pump is great and the collection cups are a decent size. My one key issue with this pump was that the seal between the cup and the shield was something I needed to verify every time to make sure I wasn’t going to have a leak. It leaked during one pumping session and after that I figured it out, but the learning curve feels important to mention because spilled milk in this scenario can cause crying! Basically, I had not snapped the O ring in properly so the closure was compromised, and when I went to fix it, I tipped the balance and milk came out. It’s definitely worth learning though cause this pump is a great hands-free option!

Good pump with great potential

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this pump to test from Stellar Product Testing. The pump itself is great. The suction of a hospital grade pump with the freedom to pump hands free and not tied to an outlet. It has great suction, super comfortable and few parts to wash (which is helpful during the chaos that is motherhood).
I do wish that there was a way to secure the pump to you. It’s hard to find a free hand sometimes so having to carry the pump instead of clipping it on can be inconvenient at times.
Overall, I loved the pump and it became one of my favorites that didn’t negatively effect my supply the way that most wearable pumps would.

Super convenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pump is so convenient! There is nothing like being able to toss your pump in your bra and go about your activities while pumping. I was able to wash dishes, make meals, fold clothes and more all while pumping. I think this pump is easy to clean and was easy to pour in to bags or bottles. It moved my milk as well as my other pumps if not better and my supply was maintained and I have now switched to only using this pump. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for the opportunity to try this great hands free pump.
