Newer is not necessarily better

I purchased a One Blade when it was first released. I like it. After a few years I needed new blades only to find newer models had come out. I couldn't find blades for my old One Blade so I bought a newer model. It's smaller and lighter but does not show battery life. The new model takes forever to charge whereas the old One Blade charges in less than an hour. The comb for the newer model is not as effective as the old version. Therefore I have kept both. I use the old model to trim my beard. I use the newer model without a comb for removing unwanted hair. The 360 rotating feature is useless on the newer model. Basically Norelco got it right the first time.

If I could give it another 1/2 star, making it a 4 1/2, I would. I had to start a new blade. Which is as good as the one that came with the kit. That way, I could give a more honest review. Not perfect like a razor blade, but very close. Great to pre-shave if you are using a razor. Perfect for a rush job, shaves in both direction,s unlike a razor. I use it to tune up my sideburns, trim other spots, etc. With all the electric/rechargeable razors in my life. This is the best one so far. From all the single-blade to electric/rechargeable, etc. Best one so far.
