From bum to...

Before I heard about the Philips Norelco OneBlade I hated shaving. I would always end up with razor burn, I'd have to change out several different guards and hold the shaver in awkward positions. Now with my new Norelco OneBlade shaving is a breeze. The guards are easy to swap out when you need a trim and for those who like the clean cut, no matter which way you shave. Even against the grain, you always get a amazing shave.

The attachments don't do a good job trimming. The razor does not trim/shave as advertised. Leave too many longer hairs and need many more passes to get the job done.
Pros: rechargeable, has attachments, lightweight
Cons: razors too expensive to replace, does not shave as advertised

Doesn’t last

Bought this due to the money back guarantee and thought “what could it hurt”. Got maybe 3-5 good shaves before it started pulling hairs. The blade doesn’t last and they cost too much. When I tried to use the money back guarantee it’s just too much of a hassle. They directed me to the store and store directed me back to philips. DO NOT BUY!

Best Shave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My skin is pretty sensitive to shaving so I very rarely get a close shave. Typically, I use a facial hair trimmer and go about life with a minimal amount of scruff. That's all changing with the OneBlade. I was impressed with how close its shave is. My skin was smooth as if I'd shaved with a razor but completely free of irritation. I also didn't break out a few days later as is typical with razor shaving. While you do get a close shave, I was also amazed that the blade didn't nick me anywhere. I've used it a few times and had the same results. I'm in love with this trimmer and can't recommend it enough.

trims terribly

The trimmer attachment catches (unintentionally) enough of the hairs that it needs to be cleaned every few seconds. It is difficult to clean, making using it tedious. It also makes it hard to avoid getting hairs in your mouth.
The bubble packaging was ridiculous. I used multiple tools, and it still took several minutes. I've never seen over-packaging so bad. (And they are generally in locked cases in stores, so the protective packaging is completely unnecessary.)
Pros: runs quietly enough
Cons: terrible trim function design, horrible over-packaging, hard to clean of hairs

Blade is not durable

Bought 2. Both stopped working

I originally had bought the norelco face+body. Worked good untill i dropped it ONCE. After that it wouldnt turn on.
I assumed the blame and went ahead and bought another one but this time just the face one.
I used it for 2-3 weeks and out of the blue it stopped working. It works for 15-20 seconds than turns off. I’ve charged it alot of times. Hoping it was just a low charge problem. Its not
STILL DOESN’T WORK.
I do not recommend this product. 2/2 have failed.

Works well but short lifespan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this shaver, as it works great when the shaver head is fresh, but the problem is that the shaver heads have an extremely short lifespan. They start to slightly wear after just one use and tend to be completely worn after just a few uses. They're supposed to last for four months, but I'm lucky if I get a few weeks out of them. Once the shaver head is worn it starts to pull on your hair when you use it and the shave is not as low. Unfortunately, the shaver head replacements are ridiculously expensive, as they cost almost as much as the shaver itself.
