As a home baker, I never thought a stand mixer would make my life as easy as it has. The mixer saves me so much time by measuring the weights of the ingredients. It is just super heavy and now lives on my counter!

Many thoughtful upgrades!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an avid baker, I admit that I wasn’t convinced that a smart stand mixer was a necessary upgrade to my kitchen until I started working with the Profile Smart Mixer.
Right off the bat, the additions of an integrated timer and scale on the stand mixer itself are brilliantly useful.
The Auto Sense functions as operated through the SmartHQ app were delightfully easy to use. The first recipe I tried through the app was homemade butter. I couldn’t believe that once I pushed the instruction to make the butter to the stand mixer I could just walk away and let the stand mixer determine (through gauging viscosity) when the butter was finished developing. That is wild to me.
I think in a time when everyone is a little frazzled and multitasking, this appliance is an excellent upgrade to the standard stand mixer.
That is not to say that it is only satisfying to use because of its high-tech upgrades. I also tested it completely offline to make a coffee cake. It’s great. Using it without the app still provides the benefit of using the scale and timer, and several more speeds than a standard stand mixer.
The only potential drawback I can see is that it is significantly heavier than the standard KitchenAid stand mixer. A quick search suggests that it is about twice the weight of the KitchenAid Classic and Artisan series and around 30% heavier than the Pro series mixers. (I’m using this as a metric because many bakers have encountered and had to lift one of these at some point.) If you’re buying the Profile Mixer as a gift, make sure that the recipient is either strong enough to move it or has someone who can help them move it. I initially considered this as a gift for an older family member and decided against it based entirely on the weight.
That said, I strongly recommend this appliance overall and I think I will get a lot of use from it for years to come.

AMAZING

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Y’all! This mixer is EVERYTHING! I love that you can connect to WiFi and Bluetooth with this and that the app has recipes on it. I made some brownies with it to test it out and it mixes the batter perfectly and even has a bowl shield which makes it easy to pour the ingredients in and not splatter everywhere. Highly recommend this!

My favorite part is the built in scale!! I hate using different cups to measure every single thing, also this way is less time consuming.
