I cannot prove this but it could very well be true that these spools will extend my life. In the past I have used weed whackers that required the spools to be refilled. I have labored and sweated as I tried to rewind them and get the end to thread through a tiny hole and pull it until the length was just-right before putting the cap on and trying to get the machine to operate and tap it hard to get more string to feed out. And there were times of hair pulling frustration when the string pulled back into the spool and I had to repeat the procedure. I was, at times, ready to throw the machine in the river or jump in myself. Those days are gone forever thanks to WORX!

I purchased 12 spools & paid for shipping only, Great deal! I needed new spools because the 1 I was using kept breaking, it might not have been loaded incorrectly!
