[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 10/15 still working ordered my 3rd bag of 6 string wheels this year. Lite weight, no cord to worry about. Depending on yard size more than one battery would be good!!

Convenient and quick

I have been using these for numerous years. Simple to call or send email to WORX when replacements are needed. Only charge is postage!

Trimmer does a good job, instructions are poor

My new 20V string trimmer works well. This unit (a WG170.3 model) was replacing my original WG151 model of the same tool. I really appreciate the added height of the tool as I am over 6 ft tall, and used to get a backache using the old one.
I like the new button for letting out string without waiting for a spin-down and spin-up, except that its placement is quite poor. It is difficult to use that button while holding both the the trigger closed and the trigger safety button pressed without letting go of the left hand grip. It would be much more practical if it was placed just of the end of the trigger, so the index finger could press it, without releasing the trigger.
I felt the assembly instructions were very poor, and instructions for using the various adjustable features seem to be non-existent ---
The line drawings were had to translate into the real item. I ended up with some extra piece that I could not find anywhere in the instructions. I am also very confused by the set of wheels (which apparently mount in two different places). but the instructions are totally unclear about that. Generally, I am quite pleased with the product, but believe it can be made considerably better (particularly by using "real photos" with clear arrows and labels in the assembly instructions; and detailed instruction on how to use such things as "height adjustment", handle angle adjustment, head swivel, etc.). I am "old school" and believe in reading "well written" instructions before experimenting.
