Free Line Spools for Life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The line is strong. It does a great job slicing through the grass being trimmed. However, ship cost of $8.93 and $0.70 sales tax totallinh yo $9.63 for free spools? Is it worth it? That is up to you.

Poorly wound

First off.. I have many (8) Worx items and have been very happy with everything....except...these spools... good thing they’re free for life ... I have to stop trimming every time to pry the nylon lead loose .... I guess these are hand wound ..not sure ..but every spool I use gets stuck a couple times and you end up tossing it out way before the end... it’s a great trimmer but the spools are really annoying..poorly wound.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Since WORX is a green company, we have designed the trimmer spools to be biodegradable and safe for the environment, so the spools break down with heat and the elements. We recommend storing your spools inside your home, or in an environment that is dry and cool to prevent the spools from breaking down.

We have had our trimmer for years. Although we have a larger trimmer, we always use our Worx trimmer. It is so nice to go online and order more spools when needed. Then they are delivered promptly.
