These really hold up well, pretty darn tough. I whacked a huge amount of weeds with large stems and still didn't use one spool. Speaking of spools, I cannot believe how easily it is to change them. I love this trimmer!

Needs better batteries

I bought this recently and I made sure the two batteries were charged before going out to do yard work. I was totally disappointed at how fast the batteries died, so I called the customer service number and told them I thought I had received either bad batteries or a bad charger and the lady asked me how long they lasted and I stated about 15 mi Utes. She then said well that was good because on high the leaf blower o my lasts about 8 minutes and the trimmer should last about 10-15 mi Utes. I was really disappointed because I only bought the whole package because they made it look like it lasted so long on the infamercial and I feel they need to be more honest.
You'd be better off purchasing a Ryobi brand that their batteries last and last. NEVER AGAIN!

Worx tools WORK!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a Worx trimmer last year after viewing a television commercial. I had my doubts, but it offered a free leaf blower, lifetime replacement spools, an easy payment plan and money back guarantee. I have six other various brands. Gas ones are messy, electric require too many extension, other battery packs are heavy & cumbersome. The Worx is not too heavy, an easy load battery with power indicator light, free drop in spools and satisfaction guarantee. It gets the job done without causing me stress. When our riding mowers needed repair, I’ve used my trimmer to mow the front lawn! Put to the test, Worx is the best!!!

EASY DOES IT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is very little seen on TV today that is truthful. ONE thing I have found to be truthful is WORX products! When they say FREE SPOOLS FOR LIFE they mean it!! I could buy 2 spools for my edger trimmer at Menards for $5.88, drive there, taking time (which we can NEVER replace) and the cost of operating my car and those 2 spools are now $8-$9, OR I could order them online directly from WORX, get 6 spools for the cost of shipping them directly to me (less than $7) and, by the way, they got here FAST. TRUST in WORX, I now own 4 of their products, they will make your life much EASIER, NOT FAKE NEWS-this is REAL!!!

Recently we bought a Worx cordless trimmer weeder and were more than satisfiied! The trimmer is very versatile, lightweight, and yet very durable... and all for a very reasonable price, lower than previous, less reliable trimmers we've had from other brands. Thank you, Worx!
