The twine is not durable. If you are only using the trimmer to cut grass it holds up ok, but if you want to cut weeds buy something more durable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love my trimmer!!!

My son bought me the WORX trimmer. My old trimmer broke and I never liked it since it was too large and hard to handle. The trimmer is so easy to use and I'm have a great time trimming. Still haven't had to use the refills that I ordered....surprised at how long the original is lasting since I'm doing trimming every week.
