This is my second season using the trimmer. My wife loves it because there is no cord to drag behind you, it is light and easy to use. I like the fact that the string advances automatically. It is easy to change the spools.
I have had my word trimmer/edger for over 5 years and I love it, but I don't like the spools because invariably the strings are adhered together. Sometimes I can separate the the string - pull it apart - but other times I have to discard the spool because the string is glued or wound too tight and won't separate from the roll. Sometimes I discard 1/2 or 1/3 of the spool. If they could fix this problem I would be completely satisfied.
I've had my trimmer now for four years and it works great. This was the first time it required more trim line. It was fast and simple. Thanks for such a great product.

Was promised life time supply of spools. ..can't even order because site says "sold out"...should have known it was too good to be true....now what???????Gave 4 stars on everything but it's no good to me without trim line!
Do not self-feed as advertised and are extremely difficult to feed manually.

I understand and apologize that you are having a hard time trying to get the spools to feed out more. With the trimmer it feeds line out as its powering on and reaching full speed. I would recommend on turning the tool on and off a couple of times, as the line will get longer when its powering on, this should fix your problem for your trimmer.
I bought a WG103 trimmer and while there are some very nicely engineered features, the trimmer line is not one of them. I ordered the free spools for life and only realized they did not work in the WG 103 after they were delivered. I have not been able to return them or get proper spools for the WG 103.
