Great as a weed eater! As a edger...not so much.

I have had this weedeater approximately 2 months and am overall happy with it. However, when using it as an edger, the line will not automatically advance. It cuts about 4 inches and then I have to advance the line manually. The line gets caught on itself within the spool when edging????
We bought one for our son on Father's Day. He likes it too.
It is so my size and the battery runs down at about the same time as I do...so, we are compatible. My husband feels like it is somewhat like a toy, but I remind him that it is only for ladies and just to pretty up the weed eating after he works with the man-size (more expensive) one on the bigger jobs.
One suggestion to the engineers: The line release button should be up by the handle instead of down by the line spool.
We also purchased the wheelbarrow and it is awesome too. Thanks for great engineering and great products!

Liking the free spools and battery life

The WORX is working well for me. All my trimming is complete with one battery charge! And I have an extra battery just in case. So very pleased with my purchase and the free string. Only issue is the auto feed of the string. Doesn't feed well, but easy to pull more string manually from my perspective.
I would recommend this to a friend!

light weight

I've had my trimmer for about 4-5 years now. Will never go back to a gas or electric one again. Love that it's light weight and I am able to do both my front and back yard on one battery charge plus have power for more if needed.

Generally happy with the spools but for the first time I have experienced line breakage at about the 2/3 usage mark. This has happened on the last 4 spools. Don't know why this is happening but it appears that there is something wrong with the way the line is wrapped on the spool. Once the line breaks it is almost impossible to find the line's end so I can rethread it. I am otherwise happy with this product.

I called and with in a week I had 6 spools. I am very impressed with this trimmer. I have 5 acres and the batteries last the whole lawn. First wireless that ever did that.
