I have read very little good about the batteries that drive these products, and a large amount of good about the products themselves. I have had 3 batteries total I mistreated the first battery and it didnt last very long, I followed the manufacturers suggestions for care and use on the second two batteries (yeah, believe it or not, I read the instructions) and have enjoyed 3 seasons of solid battery performance.
