Owned the gv151 18volt trimmer for over 2 years. works great.battery is long lasting .
the spool line has lasted me a very long time, the spool cap ( holds spool in trimmer head) has worn out. To get replacement you need to call the customer service line (866-635-4967) and speak to a representative and you can get the replacement
parts needed.

The package of 6 spools of string for our WORX Trimmer/Edger arrived as promised on time and in excellent condition. The spools are easy to install and use. When the string breaks off or wears down, it is easy to pull out more and start using the trimmer/edger again. They actually last quite awhile before you have to replace a spool.

I've had the trimmer for a few years now and I do love it ... However there are two issues 1. there are bad spools at times kinda melted together.... 2. 8$ Shipping is not free spools for life it can't take that much to ship ?

Our spools are biodegradable, which means that the quality may change over time. The environment being too warm can cause the spools to melt together. We suggest storing the spools and batteries in a cool, dry area for proper maintenance.
With the Spools for Life program the price of the spools are free, the customer is asked to cover the shipping and processing fee to get them out to you as quickly as possible.
