I tried to put new cord on my weed wacker to recycle the spool base. Did NOT work after multiple attempts. Was too heavy to turn and cut correctly. Save yourself time and take advantage of the free spools for life and just pay postage option.

I love the spools for easy use...but sometimes the line is fused before I can use a whole spool! That is a waste and real pain if I try to pry apart the fused parts of line. Also, wish the line was stronger..definitely not strong enough
