I am on my second set of weed eater spools. It is a great tool. It advances the line automatically and has enough charge in one battery to do my large lawn. I use the wheels for the edging of my driveway and walk way and then turn it sideways to get my trees and mailbox.
The shipping to home feature for the replacement spools is great. Only downside is sometimes the spools do not automatically advance and I have to manually extend the string.
The Worx Trimmer/Edger and their spool cord have work better trimming along chain link fence than any other trimmer I have used. Cord is not constantly breaking as with other trimmers I have had, thereby shortening the time necessary to complete the job. Very happy.
I bought the lawn trimmer/edger a year ago and have enjoyed it especially the weight of it makes it more enjoyable. I also purchased the blower, I've found it's fun to blow grass, leaves even nuts from the tree off the sidewalks and snow in the winter. I should have gotten an extra battery for it as I also do my neighbors lawn and before I'm finished the battery is dead. Oh, it's also good for chasing my dog back to our lawn!!
We bought the Worx blower and weed trimmer a year or two ago and they are light enough for this "senior female" to do the trimming on our 2 acre property! Love the spoils for life, too! Two improvements I would suggest are a recycling option for the trimmer spools and the tree guard doesn't stay in place. I'm constantly tapping it back into position. Thank you!
