First of the six spools keeps breaking and the remaining line is difficult to unwind/sticks. I really hope this is the only one of the six, but we'll see I guess. Probably old spools, not sure though.
I bought the edger/weed eater may have been a year ago and I have been pleasantly supprised by its abilities. I have had electric and several gas units over the years and this has been a great replacement for several reasons. Easy to get ready for work, does a very good job, I dont have to deal with cords, oil, and gas.
My family has had Worx yard tools for over ten years, great features, easy to use. We recently upgraded to the Lithium Series Battery Tools, Longer battery life and quick charging. Most importantly FREE Replacement Spools for Life. What more could you ask?
I purchased the WORX trimmer/weed-eater. I am 74 yrs old and still doing my own yard work. I previously had another brand trimmer, which was electric ( had to pull cords everywhere) and it was heavy, went through lots of string/cord, and I did not look forward to operating it. Saw WORX advertisement and ordered it. It is everything advertised and more!! Unbelievable to operate and light weight too! Uses very little cord.. I am convinced it is the BEST!!
I have had my Worx GT for years and it runs as well as when it was new despite the fact that I am taking care of three yards with it. I am just now getting replacement spools because the line is so sturdy. Great job, Worx!
This is my second trimmer. I have a blower and leaf blower/vacuum from Worx also. The trimmer is excellent except for one thing. The line gets stuck in the spool quite frequently with this model as opposed to your earlier trimmer. Otherwise, great yard tools. I use them all the time and recommend them to everyone.
My wife and I were watching TV the first time we saw the commercial on the battery powered grass trimmer. I'd been using an electric trimmer for years and it just took so long. We both use this one and think it's great.
