Thees spools last a long time and can take a beating. They cut thru the thickest of brush. I love all my Worx tools.

the 1st 2 spools kept breaking so am now on my 3rd spool. very disappointed as this is the 1st time that this has happened to my lifetime spool orders!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We will make sure to pass your feedback on to the appropriate department. Our spools are biodegradable so with time and heat, it will start the process. It will start melting together, or starts breaking off easily. We recommend storing it in a plastic bag that is airtight and stored in a room temperature area.

The spools snap into the bottom of the trimmer easily and you can extend the string using a button by the trigger. Worx great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a customer and user of your products, trimmers, blowers, pressure washer, yard vacume/blower etc for 14 years I love your products. I have been a little disappointed in the spools in the last 3 years. A lot of the spools, as you start using them, are tangled and you have to take the spool out and rethread into the head. Also, especially as they get closer to the end they are tangled and most of the time it is not worth restringing, just have to put new one on. I think your quality of the winding of spools have gone down over the years at the manufacturer level. Needs some attention.
Overall I love all your products and highly recommend to everybody both for durability and ease of using them, especially the trimmers!

Weedeater spools for life. Great cutting power.

These spools last longer than expected and cut through thistles and weeds as thick as my finger. I use my weed eater in pastures, on fence rows, between new trees, irrigation ditches, and so much more.
