Spools are easy to replace and are shipped in a timely manner. The original spools designed with notches for sharper trimming. I feel the spools have been manufactured to a lower standard.

LOVE MY WORKX GT TRIMMER, BUT THE LAST BATCH OF SPOOLS WERE WORTHLESS...WOULD BREAK OFF 10-20SECONDS AFTER RUNNING. I WOULD LET MORE OUT..DO THE SAME THING..DO THAT 4-5 TIMES OR MORE DURING A 15MIN TRIM JOB...NOT GOOD

I have had this trimmer for years and have been very pleased with it. The free replacement spools is a great feature, however, it typically takes over 2 weeks for them to arrive.

These spools sure beat rewinding empty ones. Seems like no matter what brand of bulk line you get, it gets stuck requiring removal and at least partial rewind. The WORX spools release line until it's all gone then having spares available is great! No more running to the store for replacements.
