I've owned the cordless trimmer for many years and have never had a problem with it. I find the spools never fail me and the Spools for Life is nice, but I feel that in having to pay the shipping/processing fee that they really aren't FREE.

I have bought two Workx products, the edger/trimmer and the blower/mulcher. First the prices make it possible for an average person to have quality tools. But, what blowes me away is how versatile and easy to use they are. Being female and 63 years old with no male backup, it is imperative that I be able to use my tools for long periods of time and not be totally wipped out! You really think about the features each tool possesses. I work with one multitasking tool and get the job done. Workx is my favorite tool company!

I recently bought the WORX 56 volt lithium battery weed eater/trimmer. I had previously bought the 18 volt regular battery weed eaters, and although I was pleased with them and their weight, they just did not have the cutting power or the battery endurance as the 56 volt lithium battery has. Not only is it lightweight, but it has the power of a gas weed eater! I have at least one acre around my home with a circular driveway, long porches on the front and back, flowerbeds, many mature trees and 3 retaining walls that all have to trimmed. The entire place can be done on one battery charge (if I last that long)! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful but lightweight trimmer! It also includes a wheel attachment for edging. It has a lot of bang for the bucks I spent on it!
