Since I purchased them, I used two spools. The same problem with both of them. At the middle of the spool, the wire stopped coming out. It took 30 min to 1 hour to pull out the end of wire and rewind it in the spool for use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased these for my WORX trimmer and it is worth paying for the shipment charges compared to purchasing them in the local hardware stores.

I'm very please with the spools. As a 68 year old who doesn't like to put things together and doesn't have a lot of hand strength, this was very, very easy to install for using my trimmer/edger.

I think I have had this Edger and Weed Eater for over 4 years and I had a problem with the battery and the charger but your company sent me all new charger and battery and it hasn't missed lick. I should have bought another battery because it almost takes me more time than one battery. I still love this thing and I have gone through 2 or 3 gas weed eaters and they all went fast.

I bought this trimmer to quickly be able to do cleanup around my gardens without having to break out the "big boy". It performs as expected. It's easy to use, gentler around tender plants. The battery last a good while, and the string feeds by itself, as advertised. The only issue I have is that I have to bend over a lot to be able to get close to some places. In fact, to get a good clean sweep, I practically have to lay it down. However, it is lightweight and very easy to use, which was what I was going for.
