I ordered the Worx Free spools for life about 3 weeks ago...I only paid for shipping and handling. I received the spools very quickly. I was very satisfied with the promptness of the delivery and the quality of the spools. Looking forward to my next Worx appliance.
Have the 18v edger for at least 8 yrs. Would like to upgrade to a newer one but this one still works great with the original two batteries. Live on a corner house so there is a considerable amount of edging. Also have the air vac which comes in handy to drain the batteries completely before charging.
Very happy I purchased the Work GT, great investment. Only issue that I have is that you only can buy a 6-pack of spools. We should have an option to buy more than just a 6-pack. (You have to pay more for shipping if you want to buy two 6-packs) Other than that, great product.
I did some research and this is the cheapest I could locate them with only paying the shipping costs. I still think its a bit much just for shipping. I have a half acre to maintain and go through one every other time I weed eat and edge.
First I bought the weed eater/edger and was blown away with how well it did the job. I bought it for my wife because she wanted to help in the yard but the gas trimmer was to heavy well she loves it and ask if I would buy the leaf blower and I did and again it was better than I thought and the 32 volt battery last for the whole job. GREAT TOOLS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anybody can refill the spools in under a minute. Just pop out the old spool, thread the new through and click the cover back on, And you are ready to go.
Recently exchanged my 2 year old Worx 2.0 for a new one. The cord , which is brand new wouldn't discharge in my old machine, and I received a replacement. The new one is not much better. Every 10-15 feet of trimming I need to manually loosen the cord. I'm very disappointed and may give up.
A video sent to me addressing this ongoing problem would help.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
