I own a trimer/edger & a blower. I have enjoyed both units for over 4 years. Purchased lawn mower for my church within last. year. Very pleased with all Word products.
My mom got the machine for my day. I can't start the big ones so this one works very good. We have a pretty big yard and I didn't have to stop to recharge or change spools. Last a long time. Thanks for making it easier for me. LE
I have owned the trimmer for years and I have ordered Free spools several times. The trimmer is perfect for my yard size. A neighbor asked about it and I told her it was the best. she ordered one and brought it over for a quick instruction. I really like the new features but my wife said no to buying a new one when my original still works perfectly.
These refills are great! Just pop them in and you're good to go! I love my Worx trimmer! It's the best trimmer ever! It's light weight, easily converts for edging, adjusts to my body for comfort and best of all...no gas or oil mess!
After many years of using power tools to maintain my lawn and dealing with gas mixtures, operational "stink" from burning fuel, and the constant breakdowns associated with my trimmers, edgers, and blowers I became disenchanted with manicuring my lawn. So much so that I would rarely and reluctantly edge my lawn after mowing. Working all day with power tools and fighting high decibels I just dreaded the loud Obnoxious use of lawn tools and the need for ear protection. Spring start ups are difficult, often requiring a trip to the small engine repair shop for adjustments or overhauls or bad gas issues. These all exasperated me. The alternatives were poor. No matter how hard o looked or what research Imy lawn trimmer I came away disappointed. I didn't want to use trimmers and edgers with cords. I didn't want to broom anymore. My house looked unkept because the finishing touches I was so proud to do were not being done regularly. My tools were constantly broken down. Trimmer string needed a complicated installation that too lots of time and patience so the tools that "finish" and give character to the lawn sat. When I saw the worx trimmers that could edge and trim the lawn I thought it was a gimmick. The tools looked fragile. The commercial showed postage stamp sized lots and little old ladies trimming their tiny lawns that looked precut so it appeared they could use the tool easily. But, o wanted to believe in it. I wanted to think the battery would be powerful enough and run long enough to get the Job done. Skepticism always won out. I don't watch commercials and never infomercials but, I kept stopping at the worx ones. Hoping they weren't blowing smoke I tried to convince myself that they might actually work. I really liked the idea but, thought the technology was too new and weak. Finally caving in after the constant disappointments with my own tools I decided to buy the worx trimmer. It wasn't cheep and the woman who sold it to me suggested the 12volt model. Ooo I thought. That's gotta be weak however, she assured me it would do the work I expected. I got the trimmer and it sucked. I hated it! It had no power and short run time. Exasperated I called to return it. The new operator apologized and offered to refund my money but told me the company just brought an 18volt to the market. Hesitatingly I agreed to try it. I used this 19 volt and it was great. Quiet, agile, light, functional, and adjustable to many angles I found what I was looking for. Each and every time I mow the lawn I edge it. I'm not fighting over growth. The lawn looks like a professional did it. I trim in placed I never could because of difficult angles or tight spots. I get in close to flowers and fragile lawn ornaments. The worx is powerful enough to do the job right even in tough overgrown or wet areas but, it's gentle. Not overpowering and destructive like gas tools.! I change the spools quickly and easily. I have two batteries to keep help finish the work I need to do and have enough power to use the blower for cleanup. It's quiet operation is awesome. I can actually listen to music from my iPhone and headphones. I enjoy taking care of my lawn again and making it look great. Trimming after mowing is a pleasure not a chore. The worx starts up in spring every year. My batteries are still holding a charge. I've had it for at least three years. It never fails me. It's proved itself to be rugged and powerful. It has longevity both in its work and in its life. I stopped using my gas powered stuff. I don't disturb the neighbors or my family with loud machines that stink. I actually look for areas to trim because it's easy.... Dare I say fun? I like the way the lawn looks. I have pride. I'm not spending for gas and using oil mixtures and stabilizer. I save money, get free spools, listen to music as I do the finish work. What could be better? I recommend the worx to every skeptical person. It pays for itself in time. It does the job. It makes you want to use it. I'm done doing it the old way. If or when it breaks I'll get another. Maybe by then the battery will be 20volt or higher. I'd like that but, don't seem to need it. I wonder why pros don't use it except they would need a way to keep the charge but I'm sure worx will come up with a solution for them. Good luck. Enjoy the worx.
