Not worth the cost of shipping

Poor quality lines break after just seconds of use. Too bad, because the trimmer is great. Would be worth it if they could improve the quality of the strings. Not sure why they are of such cheap quality now.

One of the best parts of the edger

"Free" is relative, but paying shipping only for spools would be awesome, even if the spools weren't good.
The Worx line and spools are amazing. Easy to replace, easy to carry a spare, and last a surprisingly long time for such a tiny spool. These tools are extremely well thought out, and the spools are no exception.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought my string weed eater couple years ago & have always been satisfied with the free spools quality. BUT my recent purchases of 2 packs are junk. The string breaks every 4-5 feet of trimming our sidewalks. Sad to see a decent product become inferior.

Even though I had been advised there was a shortage of the item in stock and this might cause a delay, the package was in my mailbox today, June 25, 2020. Very pleased with the representative [Emily] I spoke to when I placed my order and I consider this to have been exemplary from my initial call to receipt of the package. So, thank you.

spool poorly rapped

The first spool I used, I had to stop and refeed the string because it was breaking every 3ft. eventually it caused my spool holder to fly off and got lost, so now I have to order a spool holder and a wasted spool. This is one of the first time I've had a problem with the spools products.

Excellent product and very handy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my trimmer with easy refill spools. This is the best trimmer I’ve owned. I love that there is a strap to hold an extra spool. You don’t have to stop long to reload. It’s so easy, my 9 year old son figured it out. It’s also very handy to order free spools for life. I really love that feature. I received it quickly!

You will typically be able to use the trimmer several times before the line runs out. If you are ever in need for extra spools, we offer the Spools for Life program. The Spools for Life program offers a pack of 6 spools, and we only ask that you cover the shipping costs of $8.93 plus applicable taxes, per pack order.
