I bought this when it first came out. The model I have is the original Trimmer that first came out on the market and was introduced here in Texas. I bought it and was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked and has lasted for the past 7 plus years. The only drawback is the battery does not hold a long charge as it used to. I can still trim my yard but after about 10 minutes I have to recharge it. But what do you expect after 7 plus years on one battery like the very first one. The Trimmer itself is still going very strong and WORX just fine. With another battery it is no telling how long it will last. It is worth every penny I spent for it and then some. I have a gas Trimmer also but the WORX Trimmer is like the Energizer Bunny it keeps going and going and going. When the Trimmer is down I can always depend on the WORX Trimmer which I tend to use anyway even when the gas Trimmer is running. Do not stop with the production of the WORX products because I am more than satisfied with the WORX Trimmer I have. Thank you for letting me give my two cents.
I got my weed eater about 2 months ago. I have some health issues and needed something light in weight. With my worx trimmer I am able to do all my trimming in one outing. The cutting line has lasted a lot longer then I expected, I also use it to trim the grass at church. We have about 5 acres and I did all the trimming on one charge this last time. I would buy another if this ever went out. I have recommended this to all my friends.
I have found that the WORX trimmer and the spools are the best tool I have ever used in my yard. I got rid of two line trimmers because the line either spooled out to fast or jammed. Doesn't happen with the WORX. Since I bought mine I have had 3 friends buy one on my recommendation and they are all very pleased.
