I bought both tools together last year. I am glad I have them.
The trimmer does really well. I don't like using the wheels to edge because I can't get a good view of where the string is trimming and also don't think the string is long enough to get down to the sidewalk to have a good cut. When using the wheels to make it a mini mower, it works best when on a level ground with no dips or soft spots. Otherwise, when it hits a bump it can cause unwanted tipping of the unit from the abrupt stop and then you might end up with a bare spot where the string hit the ground. I think the unit works as a perfect trimmer without the wheels.
The blower works well for cleaning light dirt and debris from sidewalks and patios, although not quite strong enough to clear stuff that might be a little damp and sticking to the ground. I have tried it on leaves in the yard. It does so-so. Takes a lot of time to clear leaves using this little machine. I would stick mainly to using on hard surfaces and leave the leaf blowing to the bigger unit.
The 32V batteries provide enough to do the yard and then some. My lot size is about 6,000 sq ft.
Bought for my wife to use and wanted a weeder that was versatile yet lightweight and durable for her to use, She loves it and won't let me help her as she is having so much fun using the WORX GT!
