Not durable material

Bought 6 packs of these and they seems to snap easily. You know how plastic has been out in the sun for a long time, they are crunchy and break easily. That's how I fee about these spools. Not durable material. Went through a spool so quickly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Yes you get a life time supply of spools, but what they don't tell you is they are less than half the size of the original one. You will have to change it while you use it.

I am a volunteer at the Dayton VA Medical Center. I use my WORX Trimmer to maintain a 3+ acre Historic Grotto Gardens on the VA grounds.
I've ordered free spools now three times, I think it's a great feature to be able to replace the spools for a reasonable shipping charge.

Great Utility

I've used Worx Trimmer and the Blower for a couple of years now and never regret the purchase decisions. I got rid of my grass trimmer in year #01...couldn't keep it running properly but the Worx is superb. Ditto the Blower..a great lightweight tool. Two batteries are in order, since lifes can be short. Biggest Trimmer complaint is the WA0010 spools which are constantly binding because they're wound so tightly and get worse as they age. Easy fix, just inconvenient and should be redesigned. Requires removing spool, pulling out line, replacing, etc. too often.
