I am pleased with the spool refills I have been getting for several years. However, the machine that the refills go into are another story. While I like the ease of the battery operated weed wacker....the spools constantly release too much string with tangles. I have 2 week wackers and they both behave this way.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A great trimmer for the money.

We brought our worx trimmer 3 years ago and it is still going on strong as the day we got it. The trimmer is just like they said it was not so heavy. I have back problems and it is very easy for me to handle in getting my yard trimmed up.
