We bought 2 of the weed trimmers, his and hers, a couple of years ago and they have help up great. Batteries are still doing fine and now I learn about free spools for Life 6-pack. We have a very large yard and this is great to know.

Spools don't last long

I have said this before. Whatever material these current spools are made from is not good. These spools don't last long. I should not have to change spools everytime I edge my driveway between cuts.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and review! We greatly appreciate your honest feedback as it gives us a better understanding of where we need to improve. Our spools are biodegradable so with time and heat, the biodegrading process starts. It will start melting together, or starts breaking off easily. We recommend storing it in a plastic bag that is air-tight and then storing it in the house or somewhere that is room temperature.
