I have the Worx weed eater, leaf blower, and hedge trimmer set. I bought it in 2020. I used it for a year and a half before putting it in storage for 3 years. When I brought it out of storage last year all I had to do was charge the batteries. Everything still works great!!! I love that I still get free spools for the weed eater. Awesome tools and company!!
I have a drill, screw gun, hand held clippers, leaf blower and grass trimmer. I also now have 6 batteries. All of the above works flawlessly and as advertised. The blower works great but will eat a battery in 15 minutes (approx). I’ve had 2 shipments of trimmer line so far with no issues. I could write about each tool, but I have to declare that all tools work flawlessly. Good tools Worx!
I am trying to remember the first WORX tool I bought myself. I am a 69 year old female that loves yard work. My husband on the other hand is just the opposite. I believe that my blower was the first tool I bought. I do have a backpack blower but the battery operated one is so much easier to use. I then ventured to the weed eater/edger that comes with free spools for life. It is so light weight and easy to use. I have so many flower beds that it really comes in handy. My husband nearly flipped when I told him that I was purchasing a chain saw. We back up to some woods and occasionally I need to remove small trees, cut up fallen branches etc. The best part of all is that the battery is interchangeable with all of my tools. You can't go wrong owning any WORX tool. I feel that they were especially made for women!
We are long time Worx users. We recently went to purchase a replacement weed whip only to find that your company has changed the product. It now requires 2 20volt batteries as opposed to 1 40volt battery. I understand your goal of having a more uniform battery system however we are now left with multiple 40 volt batteries that are of no use. Seeing as these batteries are not cheap we are somewhat disappointed.
