I have used these weed eater/edgers for years. When I first purchased the “Free” spools for life, the entire spool lasted awhile. Now the spools break easily, you can tell they are melted together when wound and they break at those points. It’s sad they take advantage of people because they are supposedly free. I wish I would have thought of taking pictures. My whole pack of 6 was like this. Didn’t look anything like the picture.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The spools for life are a wonderful advantage of owning the weed eater/edger product. It works great and I’ve enjoyed it for years. It’s easy to request additional spools and they always arrive quickly. Fir the first time in all the years I’ve requested these there was one spool partially unwound - but was easily wound back and secured.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had my weedwacker for several years and the service that Worx provides by providing free replacement spools for life is really unique. I think I now own 14-15 worx products, and have found their quality and service is unparalleled.
