String breaks

I’m on my second trimmer and will not buy another. The string breaks frequently and you can finish a spool because you can’t find the end to restart it. More time is spent on this, than it takes to do the job. The 2 20v is not as good as the old 40V
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Valued Customer. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and review with us. We recommend storing the spools in a cool, dry place. The spool line is made of biodegradable material so that it easily breaks down without impacting the environment. This makes the spools of the line very delicate and in extreme weather situations, the line will begin to melt and fuse together. To combat this, the spools of the line can be unwound and rewound to ensure that the line will properly feed when placed in the grass trimmer. The spools are biodegradable and over time will begin to bond together, corrode, break easily and will eventually not feed out properly. Be sure to store the spools in a temperature controlled climate, preferably a dry cool area of the home.

Handy & Simple Replacements
