Let's spool around

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a different weed eater before and it was nothing but a pain. I was either rewinding the string or unjamming it! Then I saw the WORX and ordered it and have never been happier. It works just like the pros and the only time I have to do anything to it is when I change the cord reels! I LOVE MY WORX!!!

Well-built but awkward to use.

Pro's: Adjustable handle, holds an extra spool of line, has removeable wheels, telescopic shaft. Con's: Telescopic shaft is not long enough. I'm 5'7" tall but have to be bent over to use it. Replacement batteries (comes with 2, could use 3) are expensive. Batteries last pretty well but have a noticeable power loss at about half usage. I also find it to be bottom heavy, not well balanced. you have to keep thumb on the safety button and all times, Your thumb will get sore and your hand tired. Gets the job done providing you weed eat regularly (once a week).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Valued Customer. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and review. The Worx GT Revolutions are a foot longer than our older model trimmers. On the shaft, you will find an orange locking collar to extend or shorten to your comfort. To power, the grass trimmer the safety button and the trigger will have to be pressed at the same time. Once the trimmer powers on, remove your thumb from the safety button and press down on the trigger. The trimmer will continue to run.

Love my free spools for life

These spools are truly free for life. I order at least once a year. Spools are free, but not shipping. Still not bad. Each season I go through a ton of string. I always like to have many extras on hand. I don’t want to ever be in a position where I run out.

Delivery issue

First of all, I like my WORX trimmer and the “Free Spools for Life” process; however this order took 19 days to get, so be sure to order while you still have a few spools left. The S&H has increased over the years, and I don’t understand why S&H was also taxed .91.
