Thinner string

Noticed the string is thinner and breaks easier. I also find myself having to manually rethread the string. Love the weed eater not sure why they would make the string change other than to save manufacturer money. Have many products and would of highly recommended before, not so much now.

We recommend storing the spools in a cool, dry place. The spool line is made of a biodegradable material so that it easily breaks down without impacting the environment. This makes the spools of the line very delicate and in extreme weather situations, the line will begin to melt and fuse together. To combat this, the spools of the line can be unwound and rewound to ensure that the line will properly feed when placed in the grass trimmer. Free Spools for life

I am happy about getting these via the web. They came quickly and it was nice I didn’t have to find them at some store somewhere. However they really aren’t free as stated. You do have to pay for shipping and handling, which is understandable, but definitely not FREE. I do like the convenience of ordering online, but free is not free here.

8 years ago I bought the 3 in 1 works leaf blower mulcher bagger, I bought the battery operated trimmer/edger and just purchased the leaf blower and another trimmer as a package deal. I got the lifetime spool package included, best bang for the buck. The tools are light weight powerful and the batteries last a long time.
I would recommend this to a friend!
