At the price I can complain too much

The spools themselves are free, but you pay a relatively high shipping cost for the small package. The string is thin and wears very quickly. It must be adjusted at the bottom of the trimmer, so you have to turn the machine over and press a button. You do this quite often because the string wears so fast. The spools are small and do not last long, so you go through them quickly. If they weren't "free" i think I would have given them 1 or 2 stars. On the plus sie, they are very easy to change out, which is good since you have to do it so often. The line feed also works smoothly, but it would be nice if it was automated or not on the bottom of the unit, again, since you have to do it so often.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

spools are very short ,and the shipping cost as much as if you bought a big roll at a hardware store

Hello Valued Customer! It's unfortunate to learn that your WA0010 Spools fell below your purchase expectation. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. It is true that buying line in bulk and winding your own spools is a money saver. However, the convenience of buying pre-wound spools can be a great time and effort saver. The shipping cost on our free six-pack of spools can be much less than the cost of the two-pack of spools found in most retail stores.

for life is awesome too! I never run out and have to drive to the hardware store for replacements.
