Spools jam

Have had my trimmer for a bunch of years now. PROBLEM-- replacement spools jam and break off right after installing it. The string then is jammed so tight you have to dig it apart to get to fresh line. really looking at another brand to avoid this headache. anyone also suffering or have a fix??
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We recommend storing the spools in a cool, dry place. The spool line is made of a biodegradable material so that it easily breaks down without impacting the environment. This makes the spools of the line very delicate and in extreme weather situations, the line will begin to melt and fuse together. To combat this, the spools of the line can be unwound and rewound to ensure that the line will properly feed when placed in the grass trimmer. DestyneeE

The trimmer line in the spools are often so melted together they are useless can we send them back to you for replacement?

I was "chewed on" for buying it

We had four string trimmers when I bought the WORX string trimmer. My sweet wife could not understand why I would buy another string trimmer, until she used the WORX string trimmer. Now she will not use any other string trimmer. She loves it and I am so grateful. It is a great string trimmer.

Wire snaps off constantly Wound wrong

I got two different orders of this twine for my worx trimmer ( I love my trimmer).
Yes. East to change. Convenient etc. But whoever winds the cording did a poor job. It gets wrapped around in areas of the spool and snaps off. I have to pull it around and re insert into the little hole several times until the spool is empty
Curious if you have changed spool manufacturer??
