I have tried the generic string due to my losing track of the Worx string. After I do find the original it’s like I found gold. Plus you receive a six pack for free.

I prefer to order free spools for life because I receive the same quality spools that come when you initially order the Worx Trimmer. Whenever Ive ordered more than 6 at a time they send me the thin spools which don't work as well.
My only gripe being that my last order had only 5 spools instead of 6.

I bought the 3 way string trimmer last year. have used 2 spools since then, so i ordered another set of free spools for life. Just pay some shipping. The trimmer and the spools are working better and lasting longer than I expected. I have retired my gas string trimmer. It was awkward to reload string. The Worx string spools are easy to change and last longer than i expected. I am surprised how well it works as an edger and it does not eat tons of string. I would buy again and recommend to others.
