I wasn't sure what to expect. I have a lot of leaves and many were pretty packed down as I neglected to get them up in time. (Since I didn't have this unit in the fall) This did a great job picking them up and I will use it more timely this year! If they are wet and packed down, they really need to be dry and the blower can help fluff, dry, and put them in a light pile. Then the vac sucks them right up. Again, dry leaves are best so you don't get mud in the mulcher. The mulcher was great! Two bags contained what would have otherwise been like 6 to 8 or more. Awesome product. The design of the blower under the vac is a bit of a 'get used to it' to understand the best angle to use the product, but this is by far the best vac I've used.

I had used my neighbor's blower/vac and was really impressed with it. I had another manufacturer's gas powered blower with a vac attachment. When I tried to vacuum my piles of leaves last fall, it was cumbersome to use and did a really poor job of chopping up the leaves. I decided right then I'd ask for the Worx for my birthday. I got it this year and Spring clean-up was a breeze. The Worx was so easy to use... I never was able to use it...my daughter took over. It did a fabulous job of chopping up those leaves. Keep making these great Worx tools.

Purchased this item about 2 months ago. Used it to removed oak leaves from the vines I have around my home. Something my gas powered leaf vac didn't do very well. This product accomplished the job with ease. The switch from is vac to blower & then back is great! In order to do this with my gas powered blower, I have to remove attachments and then put more back on....

I am 75+ yrs old and my wife and I live in a forest of great oak trees that shed their leaves in the fall. I am also disabled so it really is up to my wife,with what little help I am, to take care of the job of raking the leaves up. I have used this to blow pine needles off my roof and gutters. Has a powerful air flow. Also tried the vacuum feature and it lives up to the ad. Mulches nice and reduces the volume. I also have the Worx trimmer that I also like.

I bought the vac to vacuum my wood workshop and haven't got there yet. I was work on the leaves and needles (pine) at the houses I watch for the winter, that I haven't had the change to get it into my shop. Work very well, worth the price.
