Product worked as advertised, grinds leaves into a fraction of the original size. Easy to use and makes fall clean up efficient and simple.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I really like about this product is the metal mulching system and the extra cutting blades. What I don't like about it is... 1. I don't like the curve at the end. I use the machine to get under bushes and the curve angle makes it impossible to use. The end also is too large. It should be pointy so you can dislodge dried up pile of grass & leaves. 2. The unit is out of balance. Can only be used when a pile of leaves is there already and the only job you have is to suck up the pile. It's hard to use if you have to get under and poke to get debre loose enough to suck up.
If you would only make a unit that could have the metal mulching system and the sucking end was pointy. A little lighter and better balance and with your finger closer to the on-off switch. IT WOULD BE GREAT>>>

Thought the Vac would pick up small acorns. I'm disappointed, it picks them up and spits them back out... Wouldn't recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Weather a bit wet so little opportunity to use mulch much but doesn't seem to mulch as fine as expected. But satisfactory. Learning curve on angle for blower. I like it. On/Off switch a bit stiff but ok.

It blows, and sucks!! =)

I have many trees in my backyard, 5,000 square feet of it. All their leaves decided to plunge to their deaths last week. Ordered the Metal vac/blow (why would anyone buy the plastic one, I don’t get it), and went to work. 35 minutes later: blowing leaves to the side of the house (see pics); and sucking them right up was too easy peasy...like an outdoor vacuum cleaner!! Had to empty the bag 4 times (zip open & dump)…makes good mulch for my plants.
TIPS: The variable speed control is on the Handle. Make sure to close the zipper to the bag completely. Blowing the leaves at a 20-30 degree angle (to the floor) gets the job done faster, but not good for your back. When sucking, you have to go nice and slow, and have to constantly move it to prevent the minor leaf-jam.
ADVICE TO MAKE IT BETTER: The device tends to get a bit heavy after 10 mins into it (lulling and shucking if you don’t use the strap when blowing). Strapped on my shoulder, the device sways back and forth, sucking and blowing. However, for a shorter person, this won’t be so easy, (I am 5’10”) the distance from the top of strap to bottom of device is a good 4ft. I would not advise a person of shorter stature to get this device. Hopefully, Worx can work on this little problem and have a new device for us next yr.

Ineffective at nearly everything

I bought this product last fall in hopes of it working miracles on our recently purchased 1/2 acre property that has several large cottonwoods, shrubs, and other trees. The first use was a terrible letdown. Blowing leaves simply shuffled them around and put them in the same spot they already were. Sucking them up only resulted in jams and clogs. Imagine having to feed the vacuum leaf by leaf! But, since the leaves had just fallen and were still wet, my wife and I just dealt with it by raking and bagging the old fashioned way. Spring comes around and I have given it two more chances. Any leaf larger than, say, a few inches around gets lodged in the intake and requires individual hand-feeding. It takes an eternity to clear the smallest of leaf piles. The corded function is a deal-breaker, too. This isn't Worx's fault and I knew this going into the purchase, but dragging a 100' cord around landscaped property is an exercise in futility. Granted, we have a LOT of large leaves, but this product is not the answer to any of them. I wanted so desperately to love this product, but at this point I honestly feel guilty even trying to resell this at a garage sale...

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and review! We greatly appreciate your honest feedback as it gives us a better understanding of where we need to improve. We apologize for any inconveniences you have been caused.

We recommend using the Trivac pointing at a 45-degree angle versus directly towards the ground. This way it covers more ground, and the blower tube is elevated, rather than pointed down.

Should you have any further questions, please contact our Customer Care Team at 866-354-9679 Monday through Friday from 9 am until 6 pm EST and on Saturday from 8 am until 4 pm EST. We'd be more than happy to assist you.

Thank you for choosing WORX!
