I cant remember when I purchased this, but I’ve had it forever . It works great and has lasted a very long time! I have several WORX tools and love them all!

Huge improvement to WG500 Model!

I used the original WG500 model for years until it recently broke. It worked well, but I always wished for a few improvements. The upgraded features in the WG509 model like being able to open the impeller area to clear debris, having a metal two-
stage impeller, adding a quick-release for the storage bag, and having a power adjustment dial make this an invaluable tool!

My only suggestion is to provide a wider cord holder. I use a 12 gauge heavy-duty power cable which is too thick for the cord holder.
I had to wait a few weeks for the WG509 to get back in stock, but it was worth the wait. I highly recommend it!

Plugs up very easy, weak blower, and very heavy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not even 2 mins into using for the first time it plugged up. You spend more time messing with after it plugs vs picking up or blowing leaves. There is no way to control what it grabs, so it plugs quick and you have use your arm to push it though or take it apart every time. Plugged Everywhere not consistent. In an hour i filled one trash can my wife had done over 20 bags with a rake and picking up. Even the blowing feature is weak doesn't blow any grouping of leaves. Only plus is when working it does mulch very well to save trash bag space. Also VERY VERY heavy! Not for anyone that has any strength issues all all. ordered too early to be prepared for season and now can't return.....Other worx products i own are great, this one is a skip.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works Well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tool worked very well! I loved that I could switch from blowing leaves right to vacuuming/mulching them with the flip of a switch, because that meant I could easily and quickly remove a pile as soon as I created it, instead of leaving piles laying about a the mercy of the changing Chicagoland weather. We have a lot of beautiful big shade trees in our yard, which is great for summer, but come autumn our yard is covered in leaves. Living in the Chicagoland area means the leaves are either wet or frozen from the moment they drop off the trees. This tool was able to move the leaves with no problem, even the ones underneath the others that didn't have the fleeting sunshine to help them dry a tiny bit. The best part is getting a great working product for a very reasonable price!
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's cheap to buy

I bought this unit last year, 2015. Used it 5 times motor jammed up, poor suction, the blower part is very poor.
I was so unhappy with it I gave it to the
Guy next door, he never once tried it,

No power gets clogged all the time

Terrible blows more air out of connection spot then it does the actual blower the vacum always gets clogged and the leaves are not 18:1 ratio
