I bought this a month ago. I read reviews and sounded perfect for what I needed. It's made for people 5'6" or less. If you are taller than that you must constantly be bent over. It only works well if you vac dry leaves a little at a time. If they are wet, forget it. The shute gets
clogged up and you have stop and take apart to clean it out. Not at all as I expected.

Not what I expected

Bought this a week ago. Was excited to try it out. Was disappointed. I have big leaves and I was constantly having to hand feed. The opening is too small and the whole thing is too short. I'm only 5'10 and it's not for me. Going to give it to my daughter who is short and hopefully she'll like it. The only thing I liked about it was how easy it is to remove the bag.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We blow away the leaves but of course they never go away, so I decided to investigate vacuums, especially after we built a screen porch. This is perfect. Works great.

Good Machine

This machine works as advertised. Blower is surprisingly powerful. My only complaint is that it struggles with large oak leaves. Many are bigger then intake chute so it's slow going. Sometimes you have to push them into the chute. Smaller leaves it works great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Better than expected results

I was going to give this 3 stars because it's kind of heavy for a girl, but then I used the vacuum and really liked it. I have big leaves from a catalpa tree (big as a dinner plate) and it sucked them up without any kind of jamming. It really does chew up the leaves into a fine powder. Easy to empty the collection bag. I bought this one because it has the metal mulching system which I thought was better than the cheaper plastic model. Blower is powerful too. This is worth the money.

Performs well

My wife used the product to mulch at least 10 mulched bags of leaves. It performs very well on leaves and small twigs. I had to remove a couple of acorns about 3 times, but other than that it performed beyond our expectations. The excellent design made the acorn removal a breeze. The hose connection made it easier to fill multiple cans of mulched leaves. During the process, I pre-mulched the leaves with my riding mulching mower. My wife blew them into a pile and like magic it vacuumed up the mulched leaves and mulched them even finer. Great product.
I have previously bought the Worx Jawsaw and the AeroCart. I have been extremely impressed with the quality and functionality of all my Worx products.

Needs Improvement in Suction

I first used this on a yard that had a great deal of leaves. Suction power seems low. Leaves are picked up, but the device has to be constantly moved so leaves don't clog opening. The mulching bag after first use split at the seam near the orange connector. I have ordered another bag. Bag material and thread need to be re-designed. Also the shoulder strap could be longer to properly position the strap over the shoulders without the strap slipping off. Also I used the mulcher in a location that had leaves mixed with pine needles. Picking up this combo is poor. It's more work than racking.
Re-thinking and re-design of the device suction ability should be done. It is really tedious using this device with so low a suction power. It needs to pick up easily leaves mixed with pine needles too. Also, the angle of the front opening should be angled more downward. It's angle is too high. I am 5ft. 9inches.

Limited Suction on Vac Feature

I purchased this online after seeing the advertisement on TV. I have a WORX string trimmer that works great so I thought that I would give this a try. Assembly was quite easy. I hooked up the bag and started using the vac and mulch feature on the leaves in our paved driveway. It worked great in this area however, when I moved to the mulched planting beads and the yard the vac did not have near enough suction power to pick up the leaves. The leaves were not wet or matted down but the vac only picked up about 20% of what was there. The blower didn't work much better so it was back to the old faithful rake. On the plus side when we called the customer service line the rep was very polite and sent us a label to return the unit promptly.
