I made a mistake when I ordered this tool as I thought like my other Worx tools, it was battery powered (read the instructions stupid!). But, when I plugged it in and tried it out, I was extremely pleased. So far I haven't used it except a few times for a few minutes, but I'm sure, it will perform as well as my gigantic blower/vacs. I would have given features a 5 had it been battery powered.
With the all-metal impeller, this is one of the best "yard vacuums" I have ever used. The previous unit I owned (another brand) didn't have enough power, often clogged, and eventually the plastic impeller lost some of it's effectiveness as it become worn. I purchased the Worx Leaf Pro Kit along with this. Based on my previous experience, I was concerned there wouldn't be enough power to blow the leaves down the tube into a bag in my rolling trash bin. I was very wrong. It works wonderfully, and saves my back and legs from picking up and bagging leaves. It also does a great job of mulching and compressing the leaves--the bags were almost too heavy to move. Just be aware, mulching leaves creates A LOT of dust. If you're sensitive to dust, wear the appropriate mask. Regardless, you will be covered with dust and dirt from head to toe.
I bought a Worx battery powered little mower for cutting grass around all my plants a few years ago and it worked great, so thought I'd try this. Some reviewers complained that this mulcher would get stopped up with big leaves. I've got huge leaves and it did get stopped up a couple of times, but push the release button and unstop it in a minute, so no problem. It comes with a bag to catch the mulched leaves, but another reviewer suggested the optional hose attachment that attaches to a garbage can. I bought that and highly recommend it as it's a lot better than the bag and it's amazing how many leaves will fit in your average garbage can. The blower works OK, but if you've got a regular leaf blower use it for the normal blower stuff because it will be a lot less cumbersome than this, but I was amazed how much mulched stuff you can get in a lined garbage can with the attachment. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase. I did upgrade to this model because of complaints about the cheaper model's plastic blades in the mulcher. I haven't had it long enough to review how long it will last, but so far so good.
I bought it a month age and did not get to vac much but what I did worked great and the tool really can blow some snow...had 37 inches in January...blew it away like it was paper...great vac...glad I got one
I have used to vacuum peanut shells from the squirels my wife feeds. Very satisfied with that activity and with the metal fan I no longer have to worry about damage to that protion of the tool.. This is my 3rd WORX tool and so far I am VERY pleased with all of them.
