Great Product, But Recommend Modification

The TRIVAC is everything that everyone else says it is! However, it is not the lightest tool in your shed and it gets heavier the longer you use it-first, as the bag fills up and then as your arm gets tired. I have a large tree in my front yard that has started its Autumn shedding and produces a prodigious amount of leaves. The TRIVAC is very efficient at vacuuming them up and mulching them, and the Universal Leaf Collection System makes that large job much easier. However, the unit can be a little unwieldy with the long cord, the collection hose & the trash can, and maneuvering the unit into areas around plants or sidewalks, etc. with only the single handle to hold onto it. I would recommend modifying it to incorporate a side handle (with a threaded receptacle on each side) much like those on heavy duty drills/drivers. It would take a lot of the weight off of the single arm that is holding/maneuvering it during the lengthy leaf clearing operation. I would also incorporate a metal ring/shoulder strap for use when using the TRIVAC for blowing or vacuuming with the Universal Collection System vice the small bag. I am very happy with the performance of the TRIVAC, but my arm gets really sore on large jobs due to the weight of the unit coupled with fatigue.

I own a house on a small lot and rent another. I don't like yard work. Luckily, my yard maintenance needs are modest. I purchased a Worx rechargeable string trimmer 6 months ago. It met my needs. I purchased the Worx Trivac (with the 18:1 ratio) and it too performed as promised. Perhaps neither of these tools are suitable for more rigorous use, but for trimming, blowing, vacuuming and mulching the leaves on my small residential lots they are perfect.

I love this product just wish the bag was designed a little better. Maybe a backpack unit would make it a lot easier to use. Also when this is made to battery powered (cordless) I might end up buying a few more units for my company.

I bought this one based on other's reviews and am glad I did. I got it because I wanted a vacuum feature as I have a lot of areas where blowing the leaves doesn't work well, such as the around planters and out of nooks and crannies. I also wanted something easy to operate to keep leaves away from the front door as I have lots of trees. I love the vacuum feature for that, it has plenty of suction and with the metal blades it was able to handle acorns and small sticks as well as the leaves. You are able to suck up lots of leaves before the bag gets full and it's easy to disconnect and empty. I haven't given it it's full workout yet as the leaves are just getting going. I think it will make the whole job much easier on me and look forward to putting it through it's paces :-)

I bought my leaf blower and mulched about a mo the ago and couldn't be happier. I'm a 35 yr old dad that doesn't have much difficulty lifting it, but my 105 lb wife has no problem handlin this monster. It does a great job blowing the leaves out of the bushes. After I've pushed all of the leaves into a row, I use the mulcher to suck them up by quickly switching the air path. The only reason to give it fours stars is because I didn't purchase the trash can direct path for the mulch. Go buy it, you won't be sorry.

In all honesty ......

In all honesty, I hesitated to purchase the WORX-WORX Trivac after purchasing a competitive brand last year which was an absolute waste of money. I was attracted, however, to the blower and vacuum capabilities of the Trvac as well as the LeafPro to vacuum leaves and other debri directly into a 30 gallon container. They are extremely easy to use and the best investment for lawn and garden equipment I have made in a long time. I highly recommend WORX products without reservation. /Dr. Don Amboyer

I recently replaced my 3 year old worx trivac with a new one. Reason being the plastic impeller had worn down to a point I was replacing bags monthly due to less effective mulch of leaf material. The new one has a metal impeller that mulches the vac'd materials much finer. The multiple speed is also a nice touch when you want to reduce noise pollution in a quiet neighborhood. Very happen with my purchase so far. And pleasantly surprised to be still using the same bag without any holes in it or zipper damage.
