I also bought the optional Leaf Collection System. Using the bag that came with the Blower/Mulch tool was difficult to handle when sucking up leaves. It also got heavier as the bag filled. I found the hose bulky and difficult to use because of the overall weight. Otherwise it is a powerful machine and does a thorough job.

The blower has good enough power to blow the leaves around just fine. I wish the vacuum had a bit more power as it goes a little slower than I hoped (this is why it's not 5 stars.). However when you consider it's mulching while vacuuming, I guess that a fair trade off. The mulcher works great. I did my front yard and filled up 2 32 gal garbage bags. My neighbor, which has a smaller yard, mowed their leaves the next day and filled up 12 garbage bags, so I really was impressed with
that outcome. I'm 5 FT 9 IN and with the strap fully extended, I was able to get close enough to the ground to vacuum without bending over. My son in law borrowed it, who is 6 FT 3 IN tall, and he hand to bend over to vacuum leaves, so I would recommend an option to add an extension for taller folks. All things considered, I'm glad I got it and it does the job quite we'll for me.

Had the lower cost version with the plastic impellor that could not handle the heavy stuff. Got a couple years use of it before the plastic impellor was shot. Bought this heavy duty version with the metal impellor that works much better. The bag lock-on device is much better than the twist-lock on the lower cost version. Only issue is the bag is already shredding apart at the neck where it attaches to the unit after only 6 months of use.
