Great vacuum to have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only had my Tri-vac for about a month, but there was no doubt it my mind it would get the job done. I already own a Worx 56 volt electric mower, and the neighbors are all jealous because that works so well! And it's the reason I went with Worx for my newest blower/leaf vac/mulcher. I finally put it to work this week to really test it. In spite of the fact that I own no trees, I live in a neighborhood of Buttonwood, Sycamore, maple and oak trees. And every one of those trees knows my address, so they are free to export all their goodies to my house. I have to rake my yard approximately 6 to 8 times in the fall. Each excursion nets me between 5 and 7 55 gallon trash bags crammed full of this stuff.
Well, I'm both happy and very proud to say I worked in the yard for about 3 hours this time (as opposed to 2 full days). At the end of my 3 hour trip I had one 40 gallon trash can almost full of what looked to me like coffee grounds. I'm thrilled with the end results. And my wife is happy as well, since There are not 7 trash bags sitting on my driveway waiting until pickup day comes. As today is Election Day, may I just say, "Hey, Worx. You've got my vote." And I'll be back in the springtime to re-elect you with more votes for Worx tools.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this last week and have used it twice so far cleaned up the yard and filled two of those big paper leaf bags with all the leaves from the yard instead of the 8 I used before. easy set up and use I have told several people about it and they plan to purshase one too

Good power! Bag tore on 1st use!

Bought this for my husband for Christmas. He used it for the 1st time today. The bag tore along the zipper:( He said it had great power and was working good before that. Definitely disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Versatile powerful Yard Tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After reviewing several similar leaf blower/vac products, I decided on this particular product do to its versatility and ease in switching from leaf blowing to leaf vacuum.
Our previous leaf blower/vacs required a complete removal and reattachment of the blower bag and motor inlet screen housing in order to establish the vacuum function. This inconvenience was time consuming and cumbersome due to the added need to hand carry the additional parts to enable switching from one cycle to the other, e.i. blower mode to vacuum mode.
The "Worx TRIVAC WG509" eliminates this added requirement do to its convenient on board diversion lever which allows switching from one mode (Blowing) to another (Vacuum) while leaving the vacuum bag attached if desired. The vacuum bag is also easily attached and/or removed by a simple but secure squeeze connector slide which forms conveniently into the palm of your hand. No twisting, pushing or annoying pins to remove or keep track of. The dual service steel impeller is also the best idea I've seen in a blower/Vac in years. (It will most likely out last the blower itself)
My few complaints would be it that it may feel a little heavy for a young child or prolonged use of an hour or more. Another issue may be that the blower nozzle (the lower/shorter section of the blower housing outlet) may appear somewhat short and take some getting use to in order to adequately move leaves for corners and along the fence line out into the open where they can be vacuumed up. The last issue is that the on/off switch may be difficult to operate with simply your thumb. I was able to alleviate this by spraying some silicone spray onto the thumb switch which made the plastic slide section slide back and forth much easier. (I will also add that the variable motor speed control is a very nice feature)
CAUTION NOTE: (Be certain to unplug the power cord from any electrical outlet(s) prior to attempting any repairs and/ or cleaning operations.)
Other than these few minor items, I would highly recommend this product for its versatility, ease of bag installation and removal, its well built construction and powerful motor.
I will continue to update my operational usage and findings of this product, including other "Worx" product purchases in the future.
